When you import from SAS or SPSS, you have the option of using the names or the labels, but both are stored in column properties. If you later want to switch to use the short names (SASName or SPSSName) or long names (SASLabel or SPSSLabel), this addin will do it.
Hides columns that have few levels across a classification. For example suppose that you are looking for variables that change in interesting ways across many years. But some of your survey questions are only asked 1 or 2 of those years, so they would not be interesting. So you want to Hide and Exclude those "weakly crossed" columns so that you can select the rest to examine.
This converts a prediction formula into a new Treatment Difference formula. The formula column must involve a 2-level treatment effect that interacts with other effects. If it doesn't interact, the resulting uplift formula will create zeros. If the treatment effect has more than two levels, it will make the difference for the last versus the first level. This is useful for Uplift Modeling, where y...
This produces a new table showing all the value labels for the columns of the current table. Used for finding groups of columns with similar value labels to group together.
Installs an add-in containing the slides from the event held in London on July 8th 2014 (as a PDF with two slides per page). The slides in PDF form are also accessible without the Add-In, which means they can be viewed by people who do not have JMP.

Modern Marketing Research: Concepts, Methods and Cases is a popular marketing research textbook written by three professors at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. This JMP add-in provides access to the data sets used in the statistical analysis and modeling part of the book, along with links to download the MDS add-in and other resources for learning and using JMP. JMP scripts are...
The Hierarchical Bayes option in the JMP Choice platform allows you to calculate HB models for Choice modeling. Trace plots are an important step for making sure the posterior means and variances have converged. If you've selected the HB model, the Save Bayes Chain option from the Red Triangle Menu creates a data table with the iterations for the posterior means and variances. Once you have that...

This script builds a dialog for performing Multidimensional Scaling through SAS integration or alternatively by connecting to the R project. MDS is a dimension reduction method that produces coordinates in Euclidean space (usually 2D, 3D) that best represent the structure of a full distance/dissimilarity matrix. MDS requires that input be a symmetric dissimilarity matrix. Input to this applicatio...

This JMP Add-in takes Spec Limits and any of the 23 different types of Control Limits (i.e. XBar, S, Moving Range, etc.) that are in a separate data table (I call it a Limits Table) and populates the appropriate limits column properties in a JMP Data Table. As stated above, the “Limits Table” is just a JMP table. To be a valid Limits Table, it must have a column that contains the names of the col...
UPDATE: I have modified the original add-in posted here because of a change that occurred between JMP 13 and JMP 14 that made it unusable with JMP versions <14. I have also added the option to have a spline fit through the bin means as well as added a different way of exporting the bin statistics. Happy improved binning! Yves Here is a JMP add-in to do what I have called dynamic bivariate binning....
HI everyone, I have been a little frustrated with the fact that JMP still does not have a GAM modeling platform (even if it exists in SAS for many years) so I decided to create an add-in that is based on the mgcv package in R. So to run this add-in you will need to have R v. 3.3.3 running on your computer. It basically creates a JMP dialog window with many of the options available in the R package...
There is a necessity for plant breeders to accurately phenotype plants and select effectively for both yield potential and stability in the absence of the confounding effects of competition.Prognostic breeding accomplishes this goal by evaluating plants for i) plant yield potential and ii) plant stability in the same generation. The product of plant yield and stability is the plant prognostic equat...

These are instructions on how to download and run the Model Classification Explorer Add-In I created as a JMP Intern this summer with @KarenC and @mia_stephens. This add-in provides a unified dashboard to visualize model cutoffs and error trade-offs simultaneously. You can interactively change a model threshold and immediately see the results propagated in performance measures, confusion matrices,...
A core application of statistics has always been the utilization of data in the decision-making process, and one of the most utilized tools to accomplish this is data visualization. Through the use of graphical elements, one can transform volumes of numbers into easily communicable images that everyone can understand which is incredibly powerful. Yet graphs can also be deceiving, and we may someti...
These are the instructions on how to utilize the Getting Started With REST APIs add-in in the best way to learn how HTTP Requests and REST APIs in JMP work. Download the add-in and launch it via Addins->API Toolbar. This is what it should look like: You can go through the examples in any which order you’d like. They are listed in order of least complex to most complex. The Random cat example is ...
The Custom Map Creator add-in allows you to easily create custom shapes used by Graph Builder. This add-in creates two tables to define the shapes, an XY table and a Name table. Search for "Create Map Shapes" in the JMP Help for more information on these two tables and how to use them. To start creating your custom map shapes, launch the add-in through the menu items Add-Ins -> Map Shapes -> Cus...

(So happy the soccer team made it out of the Thailand cave!) This is the 350 point Crowther and Woods Colossal Cave Adventure game in 5 Fortran card decks, interpreted by JSL. The pictures in this game are amazing; they form directly in your head. I wrote the JSL interpreter for the source with one primary goal: don't modify the Fortran source. I'm pretty certain that's not a good approach; ...
(Please note that this new version 06-28-2018 supports By groups. Otherwise, it is the same as before.) JMP provides the Shapiro-Wilk test in the Distribution platform for a departure from a normal distribution. This test has been shown to be more powerful than alternative tests, including the Anderson-Darling test (1). (Note that all such tests have low power with small samples.) Still, you mig...

This is the first release of a tool for generating a Smith Chart annotation onto an existing contour map. The tool expects that the polar to cartesian transformation has already been done.
