Julia Gong started at SAS in the summer of 2016 as a JMP intern. She used JMP Scripting Language to build an interactive custom R add-in builder for JMP during the summer of 2017. In the summer of 2016, she created a skin cancer detection software using image analysis and JMP modeling techniques, and has been recognized in international science and technology competitions. She hopes to pursue a career that involves computer science, statistics, image analysis, artificial intelligence, natural sciences, and natural language processing.
