  • DoE Augmentation three options not available

    Hi all,
I have completed a screening experiment looking at the main effects. The model becomes highly significant if I add interaction factors during analysis. Now I want to augment the design and want to add the center point and RSM as well. Under the augmentation choices box, only options available are Replicate, Space Filling and Augment whereas Add Centerpoints, Fold Over, and Add Axial are gre...

  • difference between the window object and the report object in JSL

during learning JSL, I'm still confused about the  the window object and the report object in JSL. After using platform object, i can use the report or window object to store my analysis information, so is there any differnce between the window object and the reportobject in JSL?  any clear definition ?

  • JMP 16.1 > WIN > JSL > Parse Complex JSON

Hi JMP Community,   I need to retrieve biological information from the Human Protein Atlas public website based on a unique identifier. So far, I can easily retrieve and parse the JSON file from the website using the simple code below. Names DEfault to Here (1); ID = "ENSG00000108691"; HTM_c = "https://www.proteinatlas.org/XXX.json"; HTM_str = Substitute (HTM_c, "XXX", ID); request = New HTTP R...

  • Why Weibull scale parameter is not used for Reliability Demonstration Test calculation?

Hi, The product's lifetime distribution is modeled by the Weibull distribution with scale = 44, shape = 4 In JMP Demonstration Explorer for Parametric Reliability, I input the following:Alpha: 0.2Distribution: WeibullDemonstration time: 100Demonstration Reliability: 0.98Weibull beta: 4Maximum failures allowed: 0Sample size: 10 Solve for Test time = 168 Why scale parameter is not used? Thanks.

  • Two-way clustering vs. cluster variables

I got a good tip from Scott Allen a few weeks ago for using variable clustering to reduce dataset complexity. I have a very wide data table: 16 rows and 35,000 or more columns. Strangely, if I use "Fast Ward" under hierarchical clustering and choose "two-way" under the red triangle, two-way clustering (by row and by column) occurs within seconds. However, I can't find the option to find the "most ...

  • Mixture profiler for mixture + process variables

I have a DOE with three mixture variables and two process variables.  There are constraints on the mixture variables so most of the area in the mixture profiler is shaded out. I'm using JMP17.  I would like to use the mixture profiler to show how the contours in the mixture space change as I move the process variables.  As the design space is a fraction of the ternary plot, I need to change the sc...
