Hello,I'm trying to select rows where either the second or third column have a value below 10^-9, or if there is a missing value in the 4th column. The problem appears to be with the less than operator and I cannot figure out why. Example table:Col1Col2Col3Col410.000000590.000000308A24.08e-9-8.1e-11B3-1.11e-101.02e-10 Here's the code:dtColNames = dt << get ColumnNames("String");
val = 10^-9;
dt <...
I'm transitioning from Minitab to JMP for a course this semester and I'm struggling with the workflow. Example: I have a 2 factor general factorial experiment with 3 levels each (3^2 design). The variables themselves are continuous (e.g., temperature and pressure). I want to do two things: 1. Evaluate a general factorial effects model with main effects (Temperature, Pressure) and 2-way interactio...
Hello all,My apologies if this has been asked and answered before. I did not see any topic that specifically addressed this. Does anyone know what steps you must take in creating a DOE that has a constraint of three factors adding to one particular value? Thank youo.
I am trying to calculate tolerance interval. However, my data is not normal so I selected nonparametric method bu it gives me an error "Unable to calculate this tolerance interval". Do I need to select some other option to use non-parametric method?

I'm trying to set a variable to a natural log, but I do not know how to go about it.
Hi, I am trying to plot a heatmap with some data as shown in the image below.x and y are the grouping variables and d, a are the coloring variables.I only see the effect of one coloring variable at a time.Is it possible to have each cell of the above plot (vertically/horizontally)divided into two where one cell refers to colors based on d and other based on a? Is there any other solution that I ca...
Hello, How do I use JSL to calculate Z-scores at different levels of aggregation? I am working with cancer mortality data (1999 - 2015) at the county-level. I need to calculate Z-scores to compare each county to the others within a state and all counties within the country. I cannot simply use the standardize function because it automatically takes an average of rates--which is invalid unless the...
I am working with a very large database of image files and want to be able to display the file for the user for visual inspection from a script. I have been able to get the following code to load the DLL but get an error requesting a signature argument. Does anyone know how to get a signature string from the system to pass to the DLL. ERROR MESSAGE FORM LOG: Second argument to CallDLL must be a ...
Not a mac person. Does anyone know how to run a jsl script from command line on a mac? I specifically mean WITHOUT "//!" at the top of it. I have this but it only opens the file unless I have the "//!" open -g -W -a /Applications/JMP\ Pro\ 15.app/ $(pwd)/myscript.jsl

I am working with a multi level data. Data is attached.In this dataset, I have 8- X variable: cumulative risk (continuous), all other risk (dichotomous). 3- Y variables: insurance and practice (dichotomous) and time (continuous)I have one confounding variable Age (continuous). I will have to add random effect to X variable. But I am confused how to add confounding variable to this analysis. Can an...
I am running mixed effects models and have noticed that the standard error for an effect in the "Parameter Estimates" table is different from the standard error reported in the Least Squares Means table for the same effect. How are they calculated differently? Thanks!
