  • Populate Summary table with Main & StdDev confidence intervals

Hello, I am trying to generate a Summary table from a main datatable. So far I was able to put all metrics in Column 1 with grouping (column 2).I could then populate with Count, Mean, StdDev, +4sigma, -4sigma.Next step is to add the confidence interval (95%) for Mean and STD: the same way it is done in the following analysis :Fit Y by X > Means and Std Dev. I could run ALL the analysis one-by-one w...

  • Extract Max number from a column and feed it to a for loop in the same jsl script

My JSL script has 3 parts. In the first part, I am creating a numeric column (Column A) with 100 rows filled with random integers between 50-1000.In the 2nd part, I am extracting the max number in Column A and storing it to a variable i.In the 3rd part, I am using i to create a for loop that creates i number of new columns in the same table. How can I do this? It seems I can store the data in i bu...

  • Split a Table without a Split by Column

I have a data table that looks like this, I want to change it to something like this. How do I do this in JSL? I don't have a reference column to split this against, but I know odd rows will be my first entry, and even rows will be my second entry always.

  • Create 1000 columns with similar formulas at one run

I have an input column (ColumnA) that essentially has the Index of the table. I want to add 1000 numeric columns to this table. Each of the columns will add the column number to the original column.  Example: the first new column will have the formula, ColumnA+1. 30th new column will have the formula, ColumnA+30.

  • Importing multiple text files with different decimal separators (dot vs comma from English vs European speakers)

It seems that, sometimes, JMP 18 struggles to import files with different regional settings. This is a problem for first-time users who need to load multiple text files from different lab machines (JSL should not be the only answer). For example, if I have Windows and JMP in English, decimal separators can be changed from default to European (e.g., 3,14 instead of 3.14). With that option activated...

Before I jump into my full experiment I'm working with a subset (1 discrete variable + 5 continuous variables) to make sure I'm m...

  • How do I make my custom map automatically fill with color

  • Load an OASIS (.oasis) Chip Layout File in JMP?

I have a .oasis file that contains layout data for a semiconductor die layout. Is it possible to load this file and view the layout in jmp 18? Similar to a Map file? Would then want to overlay defect location data on top of the die layout diagram.
