  • JMP DOE Summary Table

Hello, I have recently started using DOE Platform in JMP. How do we create a summary table with all parameter estimates and summary of fir for all response variable in one table.meaning a table with column as response variable name and row with parameter estimates and goodness of fit values. I am not able to find any options for this in red triangle of fit model. If there is no default option for ...

  • Custom DoE: How to set up Factor Constraints with Script

    Hello, I´m trying to play around with the Catapult from Sigmazone (https://sigmazone.com/catapult/) and practice my DoE skills, but I´m having trouble setting up the factor constraints.    Basically I´m having 5 continous factors with the following levels:Release Angle --> 90 - 185Firing Angle --> 90 - 140Cup Elevation --> 200 - 300Pin Elevation --> 100 - 200Bungee Position --> 100 - 200The proble...

  • SVEM: ¿Neural network or Lasso?

I am conducting a prediction model study with DoE mixtures (3 components) and a process factor and a response variable (quantitative). I am going to apply SVEM, but I have a question, what does it depend on when using Neural Networks or Lasso? Thank you for your answers.

  • Replicated runs for accounting the variance

Hi ,    I had a custom design with 6 runs for having a model  to predict the effect of temp and speed on performance . I had 5 samples each from each run. But after having the results I understood that there is lot of variance within the performance of each sample. Iwant to  account include this variance in my model. I replicated each run 5 times and made a design of 30 runs. So I treated each sam...

  • Curve DoE - defect rate issue?

Hi All I’ve just started using Curve DoE function and have came across the following challenge:The defect rate is ~70% - not sure how does this relate to the entire curve? Or just a selected point on the curve? Also, I need max desirability on all response values across the curve concertation range hence the desirability curve is flat – not sure though if that’s OK? Could you comment pls?

  • DOE doubts

I have 4 different factors in my experiment, each of the factors have around 3 to 5 levels, however, while making DoE using customized design, the table is taking up only higher levels and the lower levels are omitted from combinations. I do not want to do a full factorial design as the number of runs would be very high but in customized design, lower values are omitted, can you please help tell h...

  • Creating DOE (and fitting) for non-linear response

Hello, I am still new to JMP but I'm trying to determine the best way to model a non-linear system (generating DOE + model fitting). Context: Long story short, I have a large experimental space that I am trying to model (10 discrete variables + 10 continuous variables). Before I jump into my full experiment I'm working with a subset (1 discrete variable + 5 continuous variables) to make sure I'm m...

  • Deploying JMP Clinical in an enterprise environment

We are looking for an enterprise solution for JMP software being used currently. It should be web based where nothing is installed in personal computers/ laptops. Scientists can log on to web-based solution and pull data from Data Lake, do their analysis and create visualizations in form of bar graph/ charts on pre-clinical data just like they do in JMP today. Multiple people can use this solution...

  • Specifying Number of Replicate Runs in DOE Custom Design Platform

Hello, I was hoping someone could please help confirm a detail related to specifying the number of replicate runs within the Custom Design platform for creating a DOE. As a novice JMP user, I was originally thinking that when you enter a number for the "Number of Replicate Runs" field, you're specifying how many different runs you want to have replicates for. As an example, if you type "1" into th...

  • Robust vs. Non Robust Response Screening/ Categorical Outliers

Hello! I appreciate your help in advance!  I am currently trying to figure out the proper way to analyze my data!  I had used the DOE feature of JMP to create this fraction factorial of 24 runs for m experiment. The goal is two screen which categories have the most effect on the success rate. I had initially use the response screening option to analyze my results, when I did that none of my values...

  • Process development with multiple factors

Hi everyone, I'm currently engaged in a process development project with the goal of 1) minimizing the total process time while 2) maintaining or enhancing the yield. This objective is similar to viral vector production case, where maximizing virus yield in the shortest production time is crucial. After consulting with subject matter experts, we've pinpointed 10 factors for potential modification....

  • Do 3rd order effects help define curvature?

If you have are making a design with a factor you are certain will have a quadratic relationship against a response but you have a wide range, can it be helpful to define a 3rd order model effect for that factor to better identify and model curvature. I work in purification and we often deal with a recovery vs. purity balance. This relationship is usually quadratic around the optimal, where at a l...

  • Neural networks that learn and predict in real time (incremental learning)

Hello community!!A query:- How JMP is configured to generate neural networks that learn from their inputs in real time (incremental learning) in such a way that it continually updates its weights according to new inputs and generates updated real-time predictions.Greetings,Marco
