model comparison

I am having trouble with this problem:

Run the following models to predict “stars” with variables (including polarity) you think are relevant. Compare the model performance.

Bootstrap Forest

Boosted Trees

Neural Network

Elastic Net

Data is attached.

Re: model comparison

I have figured out the problem except when I do the final model comparison, the r squared values are missing. Does anyone know why or if that means I did something wrong?

Re: model comparison

If you build your models, save their prediction formulas, then do 'Analyze > Predictive Modeling > Model Comparison', you should see something like:

Note that if you right click on the table, you can change which columns are displayed.

I now see that you started a similar thread. To allow foks to help, it would be more useful to upload the JMP table with the models you built, rather than the XLSX you have above.

Re: model comparison

Hi -

Yes, I uploaded the table with the models in the other thread. The r squared values won't show up and I am trying to figure out why. Thanks.

Re: model comparison

At the moment I can only see a screenshot in the other thread, I'm afraid.
