Convert to nearest whole number - No Rounding

Hi. Being new to JMP, I'm sure this is a typical beginner's mistake. I need to convert a decimal number to a whole number without rounding. Excel import problem

Lately, I've been having some trouble importing Excel files - trouble that I did not used to encounter. The attached file is an example - the second column does not import and I can't figure out why. If I save the file as .csv it imports correctly, but I can't understand why the Excel import does not recognize the data (text) in the second column. Any ideas?
