  • Interpreting three-way anova: Effects test of interaction not significant but post hoc seems significantly different

Hi,I performed a three-way anova to see the effects of factors(CO2, irrigation and cultivar) on the wheat grain numbers.Effects shown that the interaction of CO2 and Cultivar was not significant(p>0.05), but the Tukey test seems there is the interaction between them. When I look into the interaction of CO2 and irrigation, they  looks similar to the interaction of CO2 and cultivar, but the effects t...

  • Diameter symbol SQL Insert

Hi,I have the diameter symbol ⌀ as a char in a column in a DB table (it was created with Excel but it is complicated to prevent typing in the symbol because many people are working with that and there are historical data which I dont want to change...). The JMP Query (via JSL) imports the symbol correctly. But when I want to insert the symbol back into a DB table, it exports an ? instead of the ⌀....

  • How do i get the best 4 choices ?

Hi, I'm new here.I used the JMP to draw some choice sets for a choice modelling project. I have 32 choice sets however I need to choose the best 4 out of the 32 choice sets. I would like to know how to do that using the software. I generated these 32 choices from the JMP software using (DOE- consumer studies--Choice design) options from which I want to choose the best 4. I keyed in 3 attributes wi...

  • GroupBy in Variability Charts

Is there a way to group by in Variability charts? If i have several samples I want to group by the sample and draw a cell means and bars for each sample. Here's an example that JMP generates:  It's just plotting one cell mean, but I want to draw separate cell means grouped by each sample individually. Seems like it's impossible to do that right? This is what I want to be able to do:  *EDIT: I know...

  • Eval Expression

I am trying to have the user enter several variables, once those variables are deemed ok, then the ok button goes from greyed out to active.   I got this working.  What I do not have working is the Eval Expr (outputs).  This is just a simple thing just to make sure I have this working before I do the calculations. When I run the script, here is a screen shot, the OK button is greyed out:       Th...

  • Change default setting for scale format in graph builder

Ive been using JMP on the Mac for a few years and now have to us the PC version (JMP® 16.1.0 (539038)
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0.19042.0).   I use graph builder a lot and find that the axis (either) "scale format" defaults to "fixed decimal" which does wacky things when trying to use certain increments for the scale. This is with the X axis set at increment of 0.05 with fixed decimal This...

  • JMP > GraphBuilder > Parallel Plots >River / Sankey Plots > Maximum Items?

Hi JMP Community,   I just came across an odd behavior in GraphBuilder with the Parallel Plot > Sankey Plot. If I limit the input to a maximum of 66 rows, the plot looks good. However, if I bump the number of rows to 67 or more, the output is no longer useful: no annotations: Is there a trick to maintain the axis annotations as shown in the first plot? Thanks. Best, TS
