  • Send a Message to All By-Groups in a Plattform

Hi JMPers,in the multivariate plattform I would like to save all T2 values in my datatable via script.Sadly I cannot figure out the command to save the T2-values in JSL. Further the report is using a by-variable so that I need to do something like "Hold CTRL pressed and left-click on T2-hotspot => Save T2" just in JSL. Is that possible?bc = Open("$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp"); mlt = Multivariate(  ...

  • Finding a relative path in a network

I would like JMP to pick up a "template-table" from the same directory that the script is located. This pathway may vary depending on user due to network setup (for example for me the disk is named K but for other users it might be named L or N). I've managed to use the following "fixed" link:TempTable = "K:\...\TableTemplate.jmp";open (TempTable);(this setup works)the data table is located in the...

  • Wilcoxon vs Steel Dwass

Hi,I am wondering which test in JMP to run for my data. I am comparing different groups of birds and have different sample sizes for the groups. My understanding is that the Wilcoxon test compares medians and Steel Dwass compares means? In creating graphs, would I use the mean and standard error or medians and confidence intervals? Thanks!

  • How to transfer a non-normal data set into normal

Dear JMP fans and experts   In process study, we often encount a case where we collect a data set for process capability study, unfortunately the data set that we collect is non-normal distribution, but if you want to calculate its Cpk, then data set shall be normal distribution, in the moment, we first think is how to transfer non-normal distribution into normal distribution, hereI'd like to sh...

  • Saving Plots in JSL

Hi again,I have a question about saving plots in my JSL script.  I have written some code which joins two data tables.  There are a few plots I want to make for each merged data table.  I figured out how to write the code to create one of the plots I made.Is the best way to save the plot by saving the script to the data table?  I am not sure how to do it.  I saw in another post that someone recomm...

  • Help with determining most frequently chosen combination of answers?

Hello all.  I am new to JMP and this user community.  I am currently conducting an analysis on data collected across my organization, and am "stuck" on how to obtain the information I need from the data.86 respondents (managers of conservation programs) were asked which conservation strategies of a list of 24 (labeled a through x) that they were using in their programs.  They were not given a limi...

  • Co-Kriging with JMP and Matlab

Hi!I was wondering if anyone already tried to work with Co-Kriging, using JMP together with Matlab. As JMP only fits Ordinary Kriging Models (Gaussian Process with Gaussian Correlation Function), I would like to send data (generated with Space Filling JMP Platform) from JMP to Matlab, fit the models there (Matlab), and bring the MODELS back to JMP, to use inside Profile Platform. Do you have any e...

  • Generalized Segmented Distributions

A former classmate of mine from Graduate School has recently published a paper on Generalized Segmented Distributions.  Utilizing this method, the distribution can approach any continuous density function of arbitrary form.  The method is particularly effective in fitting data with sufficient observations that are skewed and/or multimodal.  The paper can be found here:The General Segmented Distrib...
