  • Is Definitive Screening Design suitable for multiple responses?

Dear JMP Community, In the case of DOE to screen factors for multiple responses, I try to use DFD (Definitive Screening Design). The results however provided only screened significant factors for individual responses. I am more interested to know about significant factors affecting all the responses. In the standard screening design (Fractional Factorial Res III, Res IV or Res V) for multiple resp...

  • Jittered not working inGraph Builder JMPPRO 14

A few months ago my data stop previewing with Jittering in Graph Builder. Jitter is turned on in my preferances. Changing the Jitter Type and Jitter Limit doesn't fix the issue. Also changing my data type between continues and ordinal doesn't fix the issue. When I use the Selection tool to copy my graphs from JMP the graphs pastes looking very different than the preview. As seen in the attached im...

  • DOE to test taster's ability to predict color of candy (for kids)

Dear JMP & Community,   During this time of being stuck at home with kids and working on school projects, I thought of running a "taste test" with my son who recently claimed that he could tell the color of a chocolate candy based on the color of the candy shell (it's a candy similar to that of M&M).   I'm not entirely sure how to set up the DOE because it doesn't quite fall under Choice or MaxDif...

  • How do I calculate z-scores at different aggregation levels?

I need to calculate Z-scores to compare each county to the others within a state and all counties within the country. I cannot simply use the standardize function because it automatically takes an average of rates--which is invalid unless the...
