Hi, I'm trying to use JMP to open a hdf5 file using a script. I can successfully open it using the Open() command:blobpath = "/Documents/myblob";
dtblob_lis = Open(blobpath);but I get a pop-up asking which data set I'd like to open: My question: is there an option in the Open() command I could use to specify which data set within the blob I wish to open, and avoid the pop-up? Thanks.
Hi JMP Community,
I am experimenting with a custom report (see below), for which I would like to distribute lists of varying length into multiple columns in a String Col Box(). For example, for the list shown in the script, I would like to distribute its elements into 4 columns of 17 lines.
The simplified script (I stripped everything but the essential lines):
Names Default to Here (1);

I would like to select a data table cell containing a specific string and any populated rows in the same column below the string until I reach an empty cell? If Value were the text, I'd like to grab the ones below that. Can't immediately think how to do that. to
I have several plots saved in my data tables. I save them as I do my analysis, so there is no specific order the plots are created. After I have created several plots, I would like to find a way to organise them without spending time dragging them up or down. If there is a way that JMP puts them in alphabetical order or any other option.

Hi Folks,
I used JMP 18 before and now transitioning to the latest JMP version (JMP 19)...
Looks like the match counter is not showing when previewing the Table Join.
Do you know how to turn this feature on? or completely eliminated this on JMP 19?
Hi Folk, I would give an example of script but after troubleshooting an explanation should suffice. I have a data table from a CSV source that has many columns of trace data that has a column name with units at the end. For degrees C the header is Temperature [0c] and for cubic meters per hour it is Air Flow [m3/h]. There are others. I built a script that opens this data file and another that ha...
Hello, Ik was generating the Metrics of the Modelscreening platform after performing a Nested cross validation method and found that the results of the XGBoost methods was not produced in the summary table of the Test set. Also I am not able to save the prediction formula of the XGboost to my original table. Somebody a suggestion? Regards, Lu
Hi, I'm a relatively new user to JMP pro, but have been using it as a very useful tool for my PhD research. Recently I have been truing to optimize a process doing a RSM using the JMP pro Easy DoE tool. I have generated a table of experiments it designed and collected the data from them, unfortunately the original DoE was lost so I could not input the data directly in the Easy DoE program. ...
Dear all
I am assigned a task to perform recurrence analysis on our data.
The data we have are robot repairs. We want to see repair events and cost in response to accumulated transactions using recurrence analysis.
I attached a simulated data for this question. It only has three bots since we haven't decided how to arrange the data and I just put those three bots manually. I will update with more ...
Can someone help me know which lambda was used in the K-fold cross validation of a lasso regression? I see the values listed in the solution path summary table, but unsure which one it uses finally. Perhaps I am missing a main point in the process.... and it is not important
In Tables / subset, the user can decide if a column formula is copied and if the evaluation is suppressed:
Is there a hidden option which does the same trick for Tables/Update?
great for "documentation"great for "what if" ...on the other hand: one cannot guarantee that all input columns for the formula will be available in the target data table.
-> default option "suppress formula evaluation"?
Hi, I am new to recurrence analysis and JMP.
I did the analysis and use loglinear NHPP model. I have a little trouble understanding the results (in attached image). It seems that the γ and δ values are listed in the Effect Marginals section of the result. If I want to do stats on gamma compared between two groups (AlphaC and Sym 1.0). How do I do that? JMP is not generating a p value so I want to d...
Hi all! I've run a PLS-DA test for a data set that consists of FTIR spectral data of 5 different systems under 5 different treatments. I've used the fit model platform so that I could handle categorical variables in my Y variables. According to PRESS statistics, this model has an optimum number of factors of 7 and possesses good discriminating power between my samples. Then, I noticed that the st...
