  • Including Pre-Defined Error in Analysis

Hi All, I have limited datasets that I would like to analyze (bivariate or fit model). The problem is I'd like to include error in the values a prior so as to not overestimate the significance of individual datapoints given the limited dataset.  I know how to include a column for the predefined error and have it reported on graph builder but I'm unsure how to go about this in the analysis platform...

  • How to create a curve from a line ?

Hi all, I'm using JMP 13.1.0.I have a dataset with each sample being a spectrum and each column being a wavelength.I would like to plot all the samples within one graph, just what I get within Excel, but I can't find the way to do that.I'm aware that there is a spectra tool developed for version 16, but anyway, I would like to do so in my version 13.I attached the datafile in JMP as well as the ou...

  • JMP Scripting_Adding Pop Up Window

Is there a way to create a pop up with a customized message for any instance where there is an error and the JMP script can't continue running? Along the same lines, is there a way to create a pop up to say that the script is done running?

  • Lag formula not working when scripted

I have some experimental data that takes a measurement every minute for 10 minutes.I then want to take an average for a subset of data points in the middle of the set.My solution is to have a hidden column (:Range) with a formula that contains the criteria (input via a modal window) and sets each row as either 1 or 0 if it's to be included in the calculation. My output column then uses the Col Mean...

  • Gardner-Altman Graph

Dear all,   would anyone of you know how to make the graph as in object?
On the internet I searched and found that it can be done with R (I attach photos), but it is a graph that could be improved, for example by adding a box-plot and a half-violin plot that would give more information in addition to the dot plot. The result is an excellent inferential tool.
    Thanks you very much.   Giuseppe

  • covariate in GLMM

If I want to include a covariate in my model, which I am running using the GLMM add-in because the data are not normally distributed and I want to use a Poisson distribution option - is the covariate included as a fixed or random effect? I know when using the standard "fit model" I do not specify that the covariate has a random attribute, which is why I wasn't sure how to include it in the GLMM mo...

  • Customize box plot color in JMP preferences

Okay - this has been asked before but based on my screening of several discussions, never thoroughly answered. Our company has recently upgraded to JMP 13. I was upgraded from JMP 10. On my computer, boxplots added to a "fit y by x" oneway graph show up red. On a coworker's computer with a fresh install of JMP 13, boxplots added to a "fit y by x" oneway graph show up black.  For me to get black bo...

  • Validate column values (make sure all values in column follow a specific pattern)

Is there a better way rather than iteration of all the rows to validate values in column? Let's say before making something with the column I want to make sure that all values in column match specific Regex. Like so:!IsMissing(Regex(Column(myColumn)[1], "^\w+(\d{3})\w+$", "\1"))I can iterate through each row to make sure that all of them match, but maybe there is a better way?

I dont see Nemenyi or Conover as an optionThanks for your time.
