I began to create a definitive screening design with 7 factors and 3 response varianbles with JMP. I set "no blocks"!. Why is the number of blocks shown below equal to 2? I wanted to add only 2 centre point measurements. Is "Einzelversuche" equal to replicates? Why can I only add 4 additional measurements? Which algorithm is used in JMP to create a random order of runs on the basis of a Seed for randomisation? Can I change the used algorithm? I would like to reproduce exactly a given design to evaluate it by JMP. Thanks. Sincerely Thommy7571
Hello,I wanted to add this question to my last post, but there is no button to edit it.Id I create adesign, do I not need into account that in a further optimisation design axial points might be necessary? If I use the real maximum values for the points |-1| and +1 snd later I want to realise a rotable CCD with a (coded) axial point at |3.36| how will JMP handle this? Why does it not take this in...
Hello,would you consider it more reasonable to create a numerical design directly? Or first a coded design?I first created a coded design (with .-1, 1 and 0).without randomisation.is it possible to transform it afterwards in a numerical design by substituting the level values?Is it possible to randomize it separately and to control the randomisation by a seed? Hallo, can JMP extend Definitive Screening Designs to Face Centered central composite designs (FCCCD) and evaluate them?It seems that FCCCD are the only designs which contain a considerable number of runs in common with definitive screening designs. Sincerely Thommy7571
