    According to the release notes for version 15 of JMP: The Col functions honor excluded rows through the Excluded(Row State()) function.
    Col Maximum( :height, :sex, Excluded( Row State() ) ); However, this syntax doesn't seem to work.  Can anyone suggest the corect syntax?

    Hello Community, I have a short question concerning the use of mixture designs with 6 ingredients varying and 2 ingredients fixed constant: I forgot to set the sum of the mixture to less than 1 ( Mixture % = 1 - constant 1 - constant 2).   • How do I block for "month" in a 2^(4-1) fractional factorial design?

    I have 4 factors & plan on doing 8 runs. I'm wondering if I can block 4 of the runs for the 1 month I run those experiments, and 4 of the runs the next month that I run the experiment - basically 2 blocks of size 4. Would adding month as a blocking factor mean I now have 5 factors in my design? How would that look in a model & what would that alias structure look like?  Somewhat related - I'd like...

  • Caution: Places where Jmp does something unexpected

    Definitely, JMP is Not a Spreadsheet . And that's great!! Besides this difference, there are other places where Jmp doesn't do/behave/produce what a newbie / innocent Jmp user expects.
    If a user knows these issues and the remedies and workarounds -  he/she can
    a) save a lot of time b) be safe from data loss c) be sure that the results are as expected.
