  • DoE for Optimization of Chromatography Conditions

Hi All, I'm hoping for some guidance/support in setting up a DoE to optimize a few parameters in an HPLC separation. In total I have 4 factors, all are continuous (three are chemical compositions of the mobile phase, 1 is column temperature).I am anticipating cross effects between some of the conditions that will impact the responses in my study. What is the best approach to DoE here?  Should I be ...

  • Designating Duplicate Barcodes in a new column

Hello, I have a data set that contains duplicate barcodes that I would like to have designated based on run date. For example, my data set has originals, repeat 1, and repeat 2 barcodes. I can tell that they are specific repeats based on the date of the run. I have attached an example photo here for reference. I have no problem identifying the duplicate rows but I am struggling to find a good way ...

  • JMP Doe with multiple mixtures

Hi,Asking for help with setting up a DOE. Z and X are components of a mixture, each individual factor ranging from 0.2 to 0.8 and together summing to 1. There are three different types of X, X1 X2 and X3. X2 and X3 can be used alone or combined together in a ratio, however, they cannot be combined with X1. I tried to summarise this in the excel sheet below. Thanks in advance!

  • Concevoir un plan d'expérience

    Bonjour,

  • How do I write a simple division formula in JMP using different values from the same column?

Hello, I'm trying to create a simple division formula to subtract my target gene value from the reference gene. In excel I take values from the same column and divide every second number in the row with the previous value. Its very simple in excel but I can't figure out how to do it in JMP. Does anyone know how I may troubleshoot this?
I have tried splitting my column by target and well and write t...

  • DoE with two-choice experiments, continuous response variable

We want to rank the preference  of population of animals for n different recipes. Recipes are tested in two-choice assays, where groups of over 100 individuals can choose one choice or the other. Preference for the group is computed as a preference index, a continuous variable that is between -1 and 1. Is there an experimental design that would help reduce the number of combinations to test in ord...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
