multiple file import - even with slight differences

Hi,

I want to use the Import multiple files ..." to load csv files with slightly different structures: therer is huge overlap of columns, but some files have columns which the others don't.

In this case, the import seems to stop if a deviation is detected in a file.

my Wish: the program loads all files and there is a control to choose:

- just load columns that are available in all files

- load all data (and accept that there is no data for part of the files)

Thanks,

Holger

Ah, I just found out that this is already requested 2 years ago:

For sure, there is a workaround:

Let jmp generate several tables - one table for each variant of input files that it detects

- then concatenate the tables.

But it would be much easier to have just the 3rd option:
- I don't care about missing entries, just generate ONE file

besides

- stack similar files

- one table for each file
