In this case, it is expected that many users will contact the administrator before the next annual renewal. Right now there is a way to get the current factor settings from a profiler, but there is no native way to get the current response values from the profiler. According to the manual, the variable clustering colormap should be as described here: Color Map on Correlations  "The variables are arranged in the order in which they are listed in the Cluster Members table."   But unfortunately, the sort order in the map is first, by cluster, and then by variable name. The cluster members table on the other hand, is sorted by Cluster and then by RSquare with Own Cluster. This has been the case, at least since JMP 16, and it has caused some confusion, especially since axis labels are not shown on the plot, and there is no easy way to add them in the platform.   I would like that: 1. The order in the color map is as described, i.e. by cluster and by RSquare with own cluster as in the cluster members table. 2. An option to add Axis labels to the color map so that the color map can be used in presentations. The axis labels should show both the cluster number and the variable name.    It is important because currently, the plot is being misinterpreted and it is not possible to use it in a presentation without axis labels.     ... What inspired this wish list request?  I sometimes have many JMP instances open at once, in order to sandbox the different scripts I am running. When opening a new instance of JMP, it takes 4 seconds to load.   What is the improvement you would like to see?  I would like to have the time it takes to load a new JMP Instance decreased from 4 to <1 sec. One way this might be done is if JMP had a pool of instances ready to go that are hidden from user until a new instance is requested.   Why is this idea important?  This will improve the user experience.   ... What inspired this wish list request?  (1) From 'Functional DOE Profiler' feacture in Functional Data Explorer in JMP Pro, I would like to see   (1-1) Confidence Intervals   and   (1-2) Interactive HTML file export from the profiler   (2) From 'Model Comparison' in JMP Pro,    (2-1) 'Model Averaging' (Ensemble) result showed a fixed RSquare (1.00) and RASE (0.00). I think it's a bug.     (2-2) Shelf made 'Ensemble model' that is formulated from other models (Least Squares, Partial Least Squares, SVEM Lasso, XGBoost, Neural Turned with different weight) also showed a fixed RSquare (1.00) and RASE (0.00) value in Model Comparison results.    What is the improvement you would like to see? What inspired this wish list request? As a Software Administrator in a University environment we manage affiliates that come and go so we would need a way to bulk remove said users. Currently you have to manually select the users to remove them.   What is the improvement you would like to see? Use the same function for adding user, allow the option to upload a CSV to remove users.   Why is this idea important? This is a must have for a EDU environment, as I stated above our affiliates come and go and we are limited to the total number of users we can add so this has the potential to become an administrative nightmare.     ... What inspired this wish list request?  An interaction plot is a great tool for beginners, which also offers an overview of confounding. Interaction-plot is implemented in the tool "fit model", but newcomers will mainly use the graph menu. For a simple case of two X's, it can be easily created in the graph builder but it will be harder for more than 2 X's.      What is the improvement you would like to see?  Please, implement "interaction plot" according to the tool "fit model" within the graph menu. An option could be, that x and y could be selected and the complete 2-way interaction matrix will be created.      Why is this idea important?  It is necessary to understand interactions. There is no need to create a model to understand interactions. Until now interaction plots are hidden in "fit model" and it should be more visible especially for beginners. What inspired this wish list request?  Developer Tutorial: New Python Integration and Scripting Capabilities in JMP 18  @Paul_Nelson  wrote The focus on JMP 18 was character and numeric columns. What inspired this wish list request?  There has been a shift in my field to reporting RR instead of OR. I'll be submitting a manuscript with aORs but am anticipating a review that asks for aRR instead.   What is the improvement you would like to see? Add an option in the drop-down fro Nominal Logistic Fit to perform Risk Ratios, to return results exactly like the current Odds Ratios option provides.   Why is this change important? What inspired this wish list request? I was working with @Jordan_Hiller on making a PDF of some text data as the current way I had to make the output required printing a datatable to a PDF printer which wasn't as robust as I wanted:   However, it looks like there is no way to easily get text to wrap in the Journal we output the datatable to using this JSL: wajrn = Data Table( "Data table" ); wajrn << journal; jrn=Current Journal(); jrn <<Set page setup( margins( .1, .1, .1, .1 ), scale( .6 ), portrait( 0 ), paper size( "Letter" ) ); jrn <<Save PDF("G:\\Charts to print\text.pdf");  Below is a snippet of the Journal output of the datatable and I can change the width of the column but not the rows and there is no way to set a wrap function. What inspired this wish list request? This is a feature I use all the time in Excel when I need to apply a constant transformation to a set of values     What is the improvement you would like to see? Please consider adding an option under the red triangle menu in the Recode utility for transforming numeric values. Perhaps I need to multiply or divide a few values by 100 because some people input a percent as 0.1 and others as 10. Currently I have to change each of those values one by one but this is very easy to do in Excel as shown by the attached screenshot.     Why is this idea important? Recode is an amazing utility but this seems like a minor gap in its functionality compared to Excel. There aren't many options for recoding numeric column so this would be helpful. The quick New Formula Column options are great for when you need to transform an entire column but often I only need to do this for a few values.   ... View more

What inspired this wish list request?  I am working with multiple import of excel sheets from various users and some are applying filters to have the required informations. However I want to import all data of the files in an automated way.     What is the improvement you would like to see?  It happens that hidden and filtered rows are handled differently in excel and JMP 18. It would be good to have a "<<Set Excel Suppress Filtered Rows( 0 )," so all excels don't need to be checked to be sure no filters are applied before running the automation.      Why is this idea important?  This is important in the aim of automatization of data from team or group when not all people have JMP and use filtered specific excel files. I wish I could rotate the Label Orientation to Perpendicular for ALL x-axes simultaneously in a Scatterplot Matrix. I have to rotate them one at a time, and the broadcast command using [Ctrl] doesn’t work for that. ... View more

Hello,   I would like to request that the Columns panel near the middle left of the data table be enhanced to support Columns menu commands such as Column Info, Pre-select Role, etc. This would allow faster manipulation of the data table than going back to the Columns menu at the top.   Thanks and regards Mehul Shroff ... Hello,   In Fit Model, macros (e.g., factorial, response surface, etc.) only work when columns in the Columns list are selected. Hello,   This is a request to enable support for a Validation column for Fit Parametric Survival / Fit Model (Personality: Parametric Survival). Other Fit Model personalities (e.g., Standard Least Squares, Generalized Regression) have this option but Parametric Survival does not.   There is a workaround to support this through Generalized Regression using the Maximum Likelihood estimation method but supporting this in Parametric Survival would be more efficient.   Thanks and regards Mehul Shroff   ... What inspired this wish list request?  The list of currency symbols are not complete, along with all the global currency 3 letter abbreviations, which is not great for countries not covered in JMP's currency list   What is the improvement you would like to see?  I really would like Vietnamese Dong symbol and VND abbreviation included in the currency format list. No doubt there are other currencies are not included. What inspired this wish list request? I was trying to model some data as a Rice distribution, which uses the Marcum Q function in the CDF.   What is the improvement you would like to see?  I would like if JMP supported the Marcum Q Function Qν(a,b)   Why is this idea important?  The Marcum Q function is used to describe the CDF of many statistical distributions, which would enable users to use the nonlinear platform to fit a much greater number of distributions beyond the ones currently supported in JMP.
