X^Y formatting for graph axis labels

Log plots are commonly used for showing data, but currently the format options in JMP are missing an important option. We would like for the aesthetically pleasing X^Y option for a continuous variable format that can be used to label the axis. (i.e. 10^-1, 10^0, 10^1).

There are two somewhat similar formats. I agree that the default best format is not the actual best for this job.
