I’ve always found the title of the book series "for Dummies" somewhat insulting. However, during many of the webcasts JMP offers, we get asked the question, “Is there a JMP for Dummies book?” Two SAS authors, Curt Hinrichs and Chuck Boiler, just released a concise illustrated guide that comes close.
As head of the JMP Academic Program, Curt has an ear to the ground for what students need to get started using JMP: the JMP basics that will help them learn and visualize the fundamentals of statistics and basic business, science and engineering analyses.
Chuck pioneered the Getting Started with JMP webcasts. From those, he has years of experience helping new JMP users who may know the graphs they want but don't know which analyses will yield them or who have no idea which graph is appropriate for their data.
