Set Spec Limits Properties for Data Table Using Capability Function and Current Spec Table

Hi all,

I have tried to use Capability to set spec for Table column with an opened Spec Data Table

Ex:

Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Cities.jmp" );
obj = Capability(
	Y( :OZONE, :CO, :SO2, :NO ),
	Spec Limits(
		Import Spec Limits( "$SAMPLE_DATA/CitySpecLimits.jmp" )
	)
);
obj << Save Spec Limits as Column Properties;
However, the line " Import Spec Limits( "$SAMPLE_DATA/CitySpecLimits.jmp" ) " is for importing the disk-saved data table. I need something like " Import Spec Limits( Data Table  ("dt_spec") ) " with the structure as same as CitySpecLimits.jmp in the example above.

Thanks all for your support

Re: Set Spec Limits Properties for Data Table Using Capability Function and Current Spec Table

To use the Capability Platform to Import your spec limits from a data table, and then to apply them as column properties to another data table, you will have to save your limit data table. The Import statement requires that. However, there is available to JMP 14 and later is the Manage Spec Limits area which will handle what you want
Analyze==>Quality and Process==>Manage Spec Limits
