4PL fit (4 parameter logistic)

This may be a naïve question but I am confused about the 4PL equation used by jmp in curve fitting. I have a dataset of two variable and I choose: analyze>modeling>nonlinearThen I plot the data and the red fit-curve button gives the option: Sigmoid curves>logistic curves>Fit logistic 4PNow my question is; the equation used by jmp is f(x).

How to compare two or more data sets to find out the similarity between two groups?

I have 10 sets of data. Each set having 54 values ranging from 1 to 15. My aim is to compare the 10 sets and say that set 1 is similar to set 8 than other sets etc. Can anyone help me how to use JMP software to solve this issue.

File Exists () - can this work with HTML path?

Are there any tricks to get File Exists() to work with an internal html path (internal meaning a network drive represented as an html path and not UNC path)? Has anybody used the hierarchical clustering function in JMP for all ordinal data and tried how well the non-Ward options work?

So I am trying to build clusters in JMP with the cluster analysis but since my data is all categorical,I was wondering if some of the other options would work better.
