  • Is there a way to "send" variables between different Application Builder script namespaces?

Hi everyone, I'm working with Application Builder and I have lots of module windows and scripting required. I'm wondering if there is a way to "send" or "push"/"pull" variables to and from different scripting namespaces. So far, I have been defining most variables on the Application namespace, but it is starting to get very busy and I would prefer to have the scripts under their relevant modules w...

  • two-way ANOVA with unbalanced data

hello,I can't find anything about the recommended way to treat unbalanced data in JMP (v15) in the help menu. If you do a search in these forums, there are lots of previous questions about this, but it's not clear to me which, if any, is considered the best option! So, apologies for raising what may be a frequent question, but if anyone can point me to a previous answer that is helpful I would be ...

  • Fit Life by X: Average μ and σ from 3 different datasets

Hello, I'm having an issue with some lifetime data I have in which I am trying to generate a lifetime extrapolation using the Box-Cox transformation within the Fit Life by X platform. My end goal is to plot time-to-fail data from 3 different manufacturing lots that have all been tested to failure at varying voltages. I need the ability at each stress voltage to get the μ and σ from each manufactur...

  • graph builder - set the intercept of the best fit line

Hi, I am using graph builder for visual representations of my data, combining several variables into one graph with an x-y scatter. I want to add a simple linear line of best fit but force it to go through 0,0 - this seems like a pretty fundamental feature so am I missing something? I have been through every option I can think and tried both methods of creating the line of best fit (line of fit, a...

  • Column Switcher Button Removed from Plot Window Toolbar in JMP 16 for Mac

Recently switched from JMP15 for Mac to JMP16 for Mac. I was surprised to see the column switcher button removed as an option in an analysis/plot window.  It used to reside up top next to the local data filter button (see black circle).  The option to customize it back is also missing and has been replaced by a 'properties' button.  This may also prove useful but I'm new to it.    To get the colum...

  • How to introduce lower bounds for simulated data in Profiler platform

Hi JMP community,   (JMP Pro 16.0.0)   I'm hoping to find out if there is a way to include lower bounds to simulated data in the Profiler platform. So, in order to generate simulated ("synthetic") data, I use the Prediction Profiler platform along with the multivariate correlation structure of the data to generate thousands ...
