  • Prediction profiler does not work if formula contains row statement

Hi, I can't get the prediction profiler to display predictions if my formula contains a Row() statement.  MWE: the Formula for Column5: :x works fine:    while the formula for Column4::x[Row()] results in the prediction not being computed:  Obviously I wouldn't need the Row() statement in the above MWE, but I've run into this problem while trying to build something somewhat more involved. I'm usin...

  • How to call a function or process when checkbox is checked

I have a Panel Box with multiple checkboxes in it. I want to be able to add additional checkboxes to the panel when one checkbox is selected.  For instance when I check CbBox2, I want the entire HLBox1 to be added to the window. Is this possible in JSL? See code below: HLBox1 = H List Box( spacer Box(Size(20,20)), CbBox3 = Check Box( "Additional Option Only to Appear if CbBox2 is selected." );...

  • ANCOVA: Interpret the JMP ANCOVA result. (4 possible combination)

Hello all.I am having problem with interpretating the ANCOVA in JMP. Problem 1.Can I use IV as "continuous variable" & "DV as continuous, CV as categorical" ?Since I had read many reference that saying "ANCOVA need IV-categorical, DV-continuous, CV-continuous".It is very confusing, since if IV is categorical, IV and DV relationship can not be defined as linear regression... they are just ANOVA...i...

  • Urgent: covariance parameter estimates are all zero (i.e. estimate, Std error, confidence interval)

Dear All,I have been analysing a two factorial (3*4) RCBD repeated measures design by using the mixed model approach in JMP. Above is a section of the report I got. Why are the estimates zero. Other information include about the analysis include:1. 14 continuous variables measured four times at unequal time periods2. All the three covariance structures I tried (AR1, Toeplizt and spatial power) had...

  • Validate column values (make sure all values in column follow a specific pattern)

Is there a better way rather than iteration of all the rows to validate values in column? Let's say before making something with the column I want to make sure that all values in column match specific Regex. Like so:!IsMissing(Regex(Column(myColumn)[1], "^\w+(\d{3})\w+$", "\1"))I can iterate through each row to make sure that all of them match, but maybe there is a better way?

  • Friedman post hoc analysis

Hello, I am trying to do a matched sample analysis across three different factors. I wanted to:1. Confirm that my sample would be what I pick for 'Block" when I do Fit Y by X when running Friedman's test2. Is there a post hoc analysis in JMP that I can use? I dont see Nemenyi or Conover as an optionThanks for your time.
