Above is the model output. I'm not sure how I got the germination rate information to add to the regression plot.

  • JMP > Dimension Reduction > Collapse Highly Correlated Variables (Total N = 7300)?

Hi JMP Community, I have an extensive biomarker data set (7,300 variables) that contains multiple subsets of highly correlated variables (r > 0.95) that I want to collapse into representative variables (i.e., one aggregated variable for each group of highly correlated variables). While I can easily identify the highly correlated pairs of variables, I am struggling with identifying all the members ...

  • JMP16 HTML Filter Disabled

Hi All, I have been recently updated on my work computer from JMP15 to JMP16. I had created a automated script that would save a graph builder run chart as an interactive html file. I was able to smooth out any all but one issues from the JMP15 to JMP16 upgrade. The filters for the graph builder is disabled and greyed out in the html view. I've posted below the portion of the script that creates t...

  • Interactive HTML reports - local data filters not working in JMP 16?

Some time ago I shared a couple of interactive HTML reports from Graph Builder that included local data filters. My colleagues were no JMP users, and as a result very much impressed by how they could use the local data filters to explore the data. The exported HTML had filters for selecting data related to individual batches as well as a slide a filter that allowed narrowing down to specific date ...

  • How do I get prediction formula as DOE design using Fit model in analyze

Hello, I made a experimental design manually and paste it into JMP table instead of using DOE design tool available in JMP.After adding all required response, I ran fit model to analyze the data and get a model formula. I constructed model effects using response surface in Macros. After running, I checked the formula but that is not in the form as I expected. For example, I set temperature range be...

  • How to label by value nested bar charts

I have created a bar chart in graph builder that is formatted as nested bars. I would like to label each data point (3-4 for each nested bar set). I realize this could become visibly cluttered (which perhaps is why jmp does not automatically display them) so I would also be happy if there is a way to label only the largest bar in each data set (dark gray in my graphic below). I have the "label by ...

  • How to use sensor data in an analysis?

In the chemical process industry a lot of sensor data is captured (flows, levels, pressures, temperatures etc). This data can be described as time series non-stationary. Looking at a typical pattern, one might find a trend pattern (without seasonality or little = summer/winter or day/night) particular when looking at monotonic evolutions (such as fouling). But often the candidate features don't ex...

  • For a novice JMP 14 user, what is the easiest way to compute a moving average on a column of data?

I have seen suggestions for using a COL(  ) [with arguments I do not comprehend] and another by right clicking on the column heading, then new formula column, then row, and then moving average. However, after a number of trials through the Weighting, items before, and items after boxes, I never get the results I want. Surely JMP has something as straight forward as Excel provides. Suggestions with...

  • AUDPC

I conduct research within the agricultural field and I use excel like most people to organize my data. However, a common analysis is the area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC) to track the changes of the disease throughout the growing season. Is there any way to calculate the total area under a line graph without fitting a trend line/regression analysis.

  • Expand Contours

    Hi,

I understand that the contouring is done based on triangulation to data points, but is there a method for expanding them further to fit a custom SHP file I've imported into JMP? I've already set the alpha and the lowest value so the contour should cover the, 'most', area. Any other methods? Thanks!

  • Getting all Zeros for the AR(1) estimate/std error in a Repeated Measures Mixed Model Using JMP Pro

I am fitting a model of a continuous response against 7 fixed effects. When running the Standard Least Squares; my residuals plots/assumptions checks don't look too bad but the Durbin Watson test is suggesting an AR(1) structure in the residuals. This is expected for this particular analysis and is consistent with other data sets looking at the same response/factors. The Time Series platform also ...

  • Export Functional Data Explorer prediction formula

Hi,I want to export the prediction formula generated by Functional Data Explorer either to Excel or Python (via Formula Depot), but there is a problem because the formula contains P Spline Coef() interpolation, which I think is not available in Excel or in Python libraries. Do you have any suggestions how to solve this?Best regards

  • Change default setting for scale format in graph builder

Ive been using JMP on the Mac for a few years and now have to us the PC version (JMP® 16.1.0 (539038)
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0.19042.0).   I use graph builder a lot and find that the axis (either) "scale format" defaults to "fixed decimal" which does wacky things when trying to use certain increments for the scale. This is with the X axis set at increment of 0.05 with fixed decimal This...
