  • How to input user to select column names to change from categorical to continuous numeric values?

    I have a script that parses csv files with different column headings. Some have categorical values which need to remain as categorical, whilst other columns contain categorical values but need to be changed into continuous numeric (e.g. columns A, B, C, D in the example below).   • How do I model defect rates from a doe

    Hi, I have results from a DOE that was run to see the effect of some factor on a defect rates. Samples were analysed (500 parts) and different defects were counted.   • Agreement statistics with continuous variable

    Hello,  I have a observation scale that calculate amount of times a behavior occurs which could be any where from 0 to 40+ so I assume it could only be a continuous variable. I am wanting to run agreement statistic but because both are continuous it won't let me do that in JMP. Any tips or tricks on how to get an agreement stats with continuous variables?

  • Validate column values (make sure all values in column follow a specific pattern)

    Is there a better way rather than iteration of all the rows to validate values in column? Let's say before making something with the column I want to make sure that all values in column match specific Regex. Like so:!IsMissing(Regex(Column(myColumn)[1], "^\w+(\d{3})\w+$", "\1"))I can iterate through each row to make sure that all of them match, but maybe there is a better way?
