So I have two trials of data and I want to analyze how far they are away from 0.667, is there a way to make 0.667 my x-line?
Hi! I want to parse a string of characters. I have 202 binary bits in my string and I want to cut that string in half. I believe I could find the length of the string and maybe get it to return the values at a certain number of characters. I'm just not sure how to actually use that to cut it in half and have two columns with 101 bits in each. And after I get that, I want to separate every bit into...
Hi,I need to convert the Date column in format of DMY to DM so I can make analysis of Years as Overlapping. Tried "Date DMY" function and deleting the "year" part but did not help. Need it for two different analysis. The first is the overlapping Sales Data. The attached table "DateTimeFunctionDM" consist of dates which has sales both for two different years (overlapping). Each day producing a sale...
Hello dear All,I was trying to figure out how JMP associates the resolution to blocked factorial or fractional factorial designs. JMP presents the resolution under the label 'Resolution - what is estimable' of the Screening design platform.I will make two examples:1) for a design with resolution VII, like the 2 to 7-1, JMP reports 5+. What is the meaning of the +? Does it mean that the resolution ...

Hi,I have a need to send 'Out of Control' Alarm notifications by e-mail to process owners within our organization.I am using JMP 12 on a 64-bit system and unfortunately have learned that I cannot use the MAIL function in JSL as our Outlook is the 32-bit version. Is there any way that I could configure SMTP so that I can bypass the mail client and contact the SMTP directly? These seems to be possible...
I am getting this error message while trying to add rows to a data table: "Some clients of the data table do not allow rows to be added while the table is in use."What does this mean? Thanks for any help!
Comment faire ?Merci,JohanHello,I'm a new JMp user. I'd like to make a beautiful graph for a slide but I have a pro...
Hi!I was wondering if anyone already tried to work with Co-Kriging, using JMP together with Matlab. As JMP only fits Ordinary Kriging Models (Gaussian Process with Gaussian Correlation Function), I would like to send data (generated with Space Filling JMP Platform) from JMP to Matlab, fit the models there (Matlab), and bring the MODELS back to JMP, to use inside Profile Platform. Do you have any e...
I'm trying to interpret the relative contributions of my variables in a discriminant function analysis of chemical data for three groups of rocks. In a stepwise, linear, common covariance discriminant function analysis I'm able to generate non-overlapping 95% confidence ellipses for my three groups with no incorrectly assigned data points using 6 variables. My understanding is that the scoring c...
A former classmate of mine from Graduate School has recently published a paper on Generalized Segmented Distributions. Utilizing this method, the distribution can approach any continuous density function of arbitrary form. The method is particularly effective in fitting data with sufficient observations that are skewed and/or multimodal. The paper can be found here:The General Segmented Distrib...
