How do I use a script to save control chart limits to a new table?

I need help creating a script that will create a new table containing the UCL LCL and Average from a control chart. The control chart is created by a script using data from an excel file. I need the UCL LCL and Average to go back into the original excel file. I have found reference to a "Save Limits" option for control charts in JMP but I'm not sure how to use it or if it is even appropriate for...

I have been doing a script that asks from user which two columns from original data will be chosen for Journal. I have manage to do that (see the code) but I want to add also item for input dialog where you could put any text that will appear later in the Journal (preferable before table). I do not know how to add "user can write text" option in dialog nor how to "print" that text later in Journal...

Sampling data every n points

Hi everyone, I am trying to sample data every 50 rows and check if values in a column, F, gives F(50)-F(1)>1. I don't want to use the lag function as it should only sample at row 1, 50, 100, 150 and so on. Thanks in advance!

Pass Empty Variables to Function

The below code doesn't work, b/c JSL evaluates emptyVar when you try to pass it to the function instead of evaluating it on run time w/in the function. isEmptyTest = Function({var}, return(isempty(var)); ); isEmptyTest(emptyVar); It would be awesome if this was changed.
