Hello I am very new to JMP but I would like to check about for validation of chromatographic methods what the correct categorization of the variables should be:For instance UV detector wavelength (would this be discrete numeric?)Column Temperature (continuous)Flow Rate (continuous)Mobile Phase A Buffer concentration (continuous)pH of Mobile Phase A (continuous) Many Thanks James
Hi JMP Community, Is it possible to customize the format of the text contained in the Frame titles in a multi-frame plot? For example, in the mock plot below, can I increase the size of the "N" and "Y" labels and the size of the "Response Y/N" header? I tried to find a method applicable to LableBox (), but I have not found anything useful yet. FYI, I know about the trick of increasing the size ...
Hello JMP Community, For context and in case this helps with Google indexing, this is a use case from a proteomic experiment, and the individual "measurements" in the attached example file represents individual peptide measurement. The Matched Pair analysis already gives me the answer I need (Matched Pairs Analysis (jmp.com)) Group by "GroupBy"Matching two conditions at a time (e.g. Drug00 vs. ...
Hello, I've put together a script that starts by creating a project. After doing all sorts of things within the project, I get a variable name that want to use to name/save the project. I've tried using a global namespace to transfer the variable from inside the project to no avail. Any suggestion would be very appreciatedNames Default To Here( 1 );

I have a points and line chart below. the pink line in the middle graph is not supposed to connect as the selection is no connection for missing value, other color lines in the middle chart did not connect and bottom chart the pink line is not connected. I have hard time to figure out why.
Hello JMP community members. Concerning the use of the Dantzig selector on big and sparse datasets.I wondered what features would be at disposal to tune the computational time.Right now it takes about 40 minutes to get a result back for a problem with 380 rows and 149 non-singular parameters. This makes me wonder about the options available to tweak the computation time. I was thinking about redu...
I am trying to duplicate, in jmp, extracting the week from a date column that I pull in Excel with the following formula, =TEXT(A2,"YYYY")&"-"&TEXT(WEEKNUM(A2,2),"00"). The resulting week is in yyyy-ww format with a two digit week. When I add a new column and try concatenating Year & Week (Year( :Date ) || Week Of Year( :Date )) it doesn't allow me to concatenate the "-". If I forego the "-" it do...
Dear JMP Community, I am new to JMP and wanted to build a widget which would allow sliding spec limits and resulting yield assessments for a product. Such a capability can be super helpful for me. Perhaps also for other engineers working with cost sensitive products may also benefit from the discussion. I have included a table describing the problem statement. Description of ask (table above): As...

Hi All, I have what seems to be an odd problem. I've created a JSL script that launches a window through which a user can select some options and then run scripts to pull data from various sources. The odd thing that is happening is that when one of these scripts is run it causes all subsequent JMP windows to open under a new taskbar icon. An example for clarity: 1) User opens jmp. There is 1 icon...
Hi everyone,I have used the choice model platform to design and analyse choice experiments. However, at the analysis step, there are some parts of JMP platform output that are not clear, and I wonder if you can provide an answer:It is not clear how marginal effects are calculated in JMP.More specifically, how do we obtain marginal probabilities from marginal utilities since neither the utility fun...

Dear All,I have been analysing a two factorial (3*4) RCBD repeated measures design by using the mixed model approach in JMP. Above is a section of the report I got. Why are the estimates zero. Other information include about the analysis include:1. 14 continuous variables measured four times at unequal time periods2. All the three covariance structures I tried (AR1, Toeplizt and spatial power) had...
