Help on a continuous factor values/range for a DOE
Hi, I'm trying to design a DOE for experimenters at my work and I was asked if I can get JMP to include more runs in a specific range of a continuos factor. This factor's values range from 0 to 500 and they think that the range 10 to 100 is most interesting and would like JMP to add more runs within that range than outside it. Is there a way to do this? Any suggestions would help. Thank you.

Partial profile conjoint analysis with JMP 13
I would like to run a partial profile conjoint analysis on 6 attributes. I prefer that trials be limited to 3 attributes each (so not to overwhelm the survey taker). Assuming the sample was big enough (each respondent gets 4 trials) and I had many responses of 3-attribute responses, can JMP 13 provide the results that I need to understand the desirability of the 6 attributes?

How to compare dose-response curves in JMP?
Can anyone give me a simple protocol for using JMP to compare dose-response curves in JMP? The data tables consist of a series of treatments (concentrations of a specific compound). Several cell lines are treated the same way with the compound using the same concentrations and three replicate endpoints are measured for each compound. Typically we derive an IC50 (concentration inhibiting the endpoi...oflint

JSL: Index and Navigate through All Tables Open in JMP
I'm building a JMP App and I need to be able to return the number of tables I have open as well as navigate through multiple tables so the user can select a table to work with. Say you have 3 tables open and you build a spin arrow in the app builder (up/down arrows). If you click up, the next table up becomes the Current Data Table, and similary for clicking down, the table down becomes the Curren...

Absolute value between all points
I was wondering if there is an easy way to aggregate the absolute value of all points in a column to one another. I have written some scripts which will give me the stage location data for a tool, but I want to see how the locations measure up relative to themselves rather than the absolute locations of the machine. For example:If I have 3 points, I want to know the distance between 1-2, 1-3, and ...

Response Surface
Dear JMP Experts, In the attached picture I created a surface plot with the graph-surface plot function. I created a color scheme with discrete color option. I am wondering what is the cut-off points for each of the colors? In another word, does the bright red mean the highest results? Does the dark red mean the stable region? How can I find explanations? Is there a way to show the cut off points...

JSL How do I wrap the title text of a OutlineBox?
Hi all, I often use the Set Title() message to overwrite the OutlineBox titles of charts, distributions, etc. My first issue is that the OutlineBox does not support the Set Wrap() message. Is there any replacement I could use? To work around the missing Set Wrap(), I started inserting newlines "\!n" in the tiitle text. After doing this, I have noticed a second issue: Whatever number of newlines I ...

Understanding the Dispatch and Legend Model and what exactly is Base(0,0,0)?
My problem is two fold. Im writing a JSL Function to create some custom charts at work. Everything is working fine. Thats great. But I dont understand why - and I am trying to break down the code. Most of I wrote myself, but some aspects I made the tweaks within JMP, copied the scripts and used the parts that generated what I needed. Some of the code chunks that get added in are intuitive to read ...
