  • create new id to deal with multiple to multiple relationship

*UpdateSorry I should be more clear on the question. The data i currently have looks like:id    email1     a1     b2     a2     c3     dWe can see that id 1 2 and email a b c are actually the same person because the info overlaps. What I'm trying to do here is to come up with a match table with a new key which i can use to match back to the original table to identify those overlap ones are actuall...

  • X-axis of control chart builder

I want to create a control chart of a concentration versus time. This works well when I don't fill in the X-axis however when moving a time variable in h:min:sec to the X area the chart changes dramatically, why is this? How to solve? Thanks

  • JSL Identify Path of the Currently Running Script

When running a script (either from the script window or by triggering it from the add-in) I would like to be able to either (1) get at the location of the directory that the script window is in or (2) get the id of the add-in that contains the script. JMP knows this because it had to open the script to start executing this. Is there a way to do this?I know I can do this in an add-in context by usi...

  • How to create summary stats table with original columns and stats in rows?

Hello, This seems like it should be trivial, but I've not found a way to accomplish the goal (so far - I'm relatively new to JMP but have spent significant time looking for this).I have a large data table with 1779 columns, the first of which contains substance names, and the remaining 1778 (variables) contain numeric data for continuous modeling.I need summary stats in a table that mirrors the co...

  • definitive screening design

    Dear All,
I am planning to build an RSM to optimize my method. I have 8 continuous factors, 1 categorical factor, and 2 responses. The levels of each factor were determined according to previous experiences of the team. I have no idea if there are interactions between factors or not. I can not identify the source of noise and I am planning to randomize. After I did some research, I think the most s...

  • Predicting Rainy Days

Hi all! I'm wondering if JMP can help with spot a pattern in the days leading up to rain. If I have years of historical daily (even hourly) environmental data which includes temperature, humidity, pollution, etc, would JMP be able to help spot a pattern leading up to rainy days? If so, what type of analysis would be best suited for a study like this? The "sequential" element is tricky to me, as I'...
