Shading in an area on a time-series chart

Dear all,If I plot a simple time-series of my data I will often gain insight from control limits and also spec limits on the graph. can I use Contains() within Match()

I need to search a character column to look to see if each rows value contains specific strings and then create an indicator name/group accordingly in the new column (it will be searching for ~14 specific strings). How to establish testing portion of data for multivariate DA?

Hello,I have been using JMP 11 for a little over a year now, and haven't figure out how to partition my data into training/validation sets for a multivariate discriminant analysis (i.e. train my model using a specific 2/3, then validate using the final 1/3). I also haven't been able to find help via other online resources. Any help on locating this feature?

Limitation Of HexToNumber()

I'm using JMP10 and notice for Hex To Number( hextext), hextext is limited to 31-bits. Is there a way around this?Hex To Number("7FFFFFFF") = 2147483647, Hex To Number("80000000") = -2147483648. I need to multiply two hex strings (each can be upto 4-bytes) and in the resulting number, depending on state of MSB bit, extract Bits[29:14] or Bits [27:12]. Can this be done in JSL?

CCC Optimal

Hi,I have 2 clustering chooses as mentionned below,- Nr of cluster 15 : CCC = 69.99 (OPTIMAL)- Nr of cluster 15 : CCC = -92.87- Nr of cluster 15 : CCC = -112.8 The first one with CCC = 69.99 is mentionned as the best optimal.
