  • Get unique column values & use them for filtering / cleaning up in a different table

Hi, what would be the approach for using, for example, the keys in an array for selecting or filtering rows with the same keys, but in a different JMP table. I have two tables. One of them maps sample IDs for chemical testing to different factor settings (temperature, time, study nr., etc.). I am successfully getting the sample IDs in an array. (Sorry, I'm a total newbie to this.)smplID = Associat...

  • How to open this JSON file as a data table?

I need help with opening this JSON file in JMP as a data table: https://www.purpleair.com/data.json I used JMP's JSON Import Wizard, but have not been able to open the file in a way that I want to.I'd like the 'fields' to be the column headers and 'data' to be the rows in the data table. I appreciate your help in advance.

  • JMP > JSL > Script Acceleration for Multiple Call to Fit Model (N > 2000)?

Hi JMP Community, The size of my datasets is getting bigger and the basic scripts I created a while back (see below) are not keeping up from a speed point of view. I would greatly appreciate hearing about ideas on how to optimize this type of script for better speed. For example, I suspect that operations like "Concatenate" are relatively slow, and it might make sense to work with matrices for thi...

  • Help with DOE analysis - Mixing Study

Hello all, I am fairly new to DOE and would appreciate some assistance with the analysis of my data, especially with the correct approach and order to the analysis. I have created a simple mixing design. On the face of it, this is a very simple experiment, which involves mixing three different components to create a composite, conducting some experiments and measuring several outputs. The design i...

  • Summary Table For Multiple Variables

I have a dataset fundamentally similar to the table below on the left. I need to summarize it to look like the table on the right, calculating the % of lines for each entry in the completed column for each shift for each time period. In a practical sense, a shift completed 2 red and 1 green during FM1, so the summary would need to find the % of red and green found by a shift during FM1... etc. It ...

  • Graph changes when switching to JMP14

    Dear all users,
I just install JMP14 and experience a slight difference compared to JMP12For example,  the image below is from JMP12  When I use JM14 and drag the parameter in Freg, all the cell with 0 is transparent . This means that the graph only illustrates number 1 and 2.
Do you know how to make the graph to display number 0 as JMP 12 did.

    Sincerely

  • Is it possible to make relationship between two columns in a data filter easier to see?

Hi everyone, I think this is simple question; hopefully with a simple answer, that just takes a minute to explain. When I have more than one column that is being used in a data filter I can use the red triangle menu to independently select (for each column) the relationship among levels (e.g., "match any", "match all", etc.). I'd like to have a similarly persistent and visible option for configuri...

  • Changing axis scale with superscripts

I'm wondering how to change my axis scale with superscripts. I am using unicode font to write the superscripts but I am having trouble applying the superscripts to my axis. I want the minimun to be 10⁻¹⁰ and maximum to be 10⁻³. I have attached scrrenshots below of what I'm stuck on. I'm thinking I need to use a custom format but I can't figure it out. Y axis scale needs to be LOG.

  • Variability Chart Platform Factor Re-Insert Positions (Not Swapping)

Hello JMP Community, I understand dragging between any two factors swaps the location pairs in the Variability Chart platform. Is there a way to drag to specifically re-insert the factors instead? For example, can I drag "Layout" between "Horizontal" and "Wafer ID" in the attached screenshot instead of performing multiple drags to have the intended result? I am aware I can do this reordering with ...

  • how can I use structural equation model to make predictions?

Hi, I built a structural equation model and it works well. I would like use the model to make some predictions. Basically, what I want to do is to change the value of a variable and then JMP can calculate the values of other variables. Is there any way i can output the model equation so that I can use it to predict? Thanks.
