  • Re-binning based on new spec limits

I have a table with a number of parameters with spec limits and a pass fail column.I use manage Spec limits to change some of the limits and reload them to the columns of the table.OK so far.But now I want to re-bin all the devices (i.e. re-determine Pass & Fail) based on the new spec limits.Since there are many, many parameters writing a formula to do this would be unwieldy and take quite a bit o...

  • Script for setting all axis limits in a graph builder to values computed from the displayed data

In order to speed up one step of a workflow, I am trying to write a script that automatically sets the axis limits of all Y axes in a graph builder to certain values (quantiles) that can be computed from the displayed data. The plan was:Get the axis labelsCompute the desired limits by using the corresponding columns in the data tableSet the limits accordingly. This turns out to be more complicated ...

  • Running multivariate principle component analysis with missing values

I'm using JMP 16.2.0 to run a principle component (multivariate) analysis through the Analyze menu option. My data contains 4 reps of 15 treatments each in two categories (i.e. 120 reps in total). The data has undergone a Grubbs test and the outliers have been removed from the reps resulting in gaps in my data table. When I run the PC analysis for all the variables as an overall analysis and 'by c...

  • Merging Multiple Tables

Is there a way in JMP to join multiple tables at once. I have a very large data set and I need pick various data out of different rows and columns for various functions. I can do this with the built-in JMP Query Builder, then save the scripts for individual functions. However, this yields multiple data tables, all with one common column of data. Is there a way to have a script that joins all these...

  • Linear mixed model not showing "Random Effect" noise in simulator/monte carlo

I have fit a Mixed Model via the Fit Model platform in JMP Pro. When opening up the 'Prediction Profiler', and inspecting the Profiler itself, I can see the as expected predicted response and its as expected confidence interval in [], which reflects the variation due to the Random Effects I have fit.  However, when I run the 'Simulator' with equal experimental variables as above, and after adding ...

  • How to run JSL script in user opened JMP session instead creating a new seesion by JMP.dll?

Currently I developed a windows application based on Interop.JMP.dll. The application contains a functionality to generate JSL file and run it in JMP but I got a issue now. It seems can only create a new session and run it by application instead of using the session that user opened first. I'd like to confirm whether it's possible to run JSL in the session by user opened manually. Appreciate it if...
