Hi, I'm trying to input multiple values from the jmp file into SQL variable. Something doesn't seem to work User will input the following file and the columns values are stored in the variable specVal .I declared @ SPEC = ^specVal^ (Contains 3 values ) in SQL Something doesn't seem to be correct. Names Default To Here( 1 );
Clear Globals();
Clear Log();
specVal = "";

Hello, I have made a simple linear regression plot in JMP using Analyze > Fit Y by X. I have several data points plotted, with the x-axis being time and the y-axis being the parameter I'm measuring at each time point. I used Fit Line to add the simple regression line. I have also plotted my 95% confidence interval lines around the data (using Confid Curves Fit on the Linear Fit red triangle menu),...
Welcome back for the third Cringeworthy discussion topic! Many thanks to those that contributed to the first two topics. Please feel free to join this discussion as well! Today's Cringeworthy Statement should be obvious, though you all have surprised me with great insights in the past that I hadn't considered! Here it is: An engineer is tasked with running a test on a particular process ...
Hello, I created a DOE table which had a minimum # of runs as 44. The table has 8 factors (7 continuous and 1 discrete) and 3 responses. However, when I re-enter the DOE dialogue, press "back" and edit my factors something strange happens. Adding a new continuous factor actually decreases the minimum # of runs to 10. How could this be true? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Need help here :'(
I want to create a universal script that would enable me to plot the same var chart with different column output.
For example:
I have two table
Table 1
Linkforcetemppressurelevel150882-260701-340893-450881-
Table 2Linkforcetemppressuretimelevel150882532607016434089315545088144 My Var chart would be :
X (:Link)
Y (:force, :temp, :pressure, :time, :level)
How do i create a script t...
Hi JMP Community, I routinely analyze binary outcomes such as Response / Non-Response at a single time point in my research using the Nominal Logistic Platform. Now, I need to expand my analysis to incorporate the factor of Time in my model, and I realized that I am unsure about the best approach to do so. Specifically, in the mock data file attached to this post, I need to evaluate the effect ...
In the EWMA chart from the Legacy control charts, it is possible to specify both the weight and the K values (multiplier for control limits). Changing the K value is a typical step when parametrizing an EWMA chart. In the new EWMA control chart in JMP16, how can I change the K value?
Hello. I am trying to use the EMP tool to help set guardbands to my test limits based on my gauge R and R data from a final test machine.I used 10 devices and measured these devices 5 times each, across 5 different test sites on the machine.I need to know how much to guardband my Upper and Lower specs. I am having trouble understanding how to apply the data in the EMP report. I feel like this is a...
Hi JMP Community, I just came across an odd behavior in GraphBuilder with the Parallel Plot > Sankey Plot. If I limit the input to a maximum of 66 rows, the plot looks good. However, if I bump the number of rows to 67 or more,the output is no longer useful: no annotations: Is there a trick to maintain the axis annotations as shown in the first plot? Thanks. Best, TS
I'm trying to do permutation tests and Monte Carlo Cross Validations with the Iris sample dataset as a MWE for our dataset. I'm not sure if I'm doing things and interpreting output correctly. 1) Create New Formula Column (Random->Sample Without Replacement) for the Species Column for Permutation Test. 2) Create a Validation Column (0.75/0.25 split) and a new Formula Column (Random->Sample Withou...
Hello JMP Community, I understand dragging between any two factors swaps the location pairs in the Variability Chart platform. Is there a way to drag to specifically re-insert the factors instead? For example, can I drag "Layout" between "Horizontal" and "Wafer ID" in the attached screenshot instead of performing multiple drags to have the intended result? I am aware I can do this reordering with ...
I have JMP data table with data from several parts for which a Capacitance 'C' has been measured as a function of reverse voltage 'V' (0 to -5 V in -0.1V step). A plot of [1/C]^2 vs V has a linear part for small reverse bias (say from 0 V to -0.5V and data is available at 0, -0.1, -0.2, -03, -0.4 -0.5 V within this range). How to do a linear fit to the points between 0 to -5V for each part, extrac...
