It would be good if JMP has the option to go ‘Back’ in the Create Web Report dialogue box. On top of that, it will save a lot of users’ time if the dialogue box is kept open after the user has clicked on the ‘Build Report’ button. In JMP (13.0), I had to Create Web Report from scratch 4-5 times because I wanted to change something when the Web Report was displayed in the browser, but there was no way to go back and modify it, except to start it from scratch which I did.

What is the benefit? If we are allowed to create this "sections" (or "cells" if you prefer that name), it would be much easier to execute parts of a code during the code development and/or testing, or I only want to run a specific section for reason X. This section break would avoid the annoying task of highlighting the part of the code I want to run. That would also mean that a command to only run the "current section" is needed. Thanks!

I suggest that the output for regression include options for the Johnson-Neyman regions of significance—i.e., floodlight analysis (i.e., at and above/below what value of the moderator is the difference between levels of the independent variable significant). In addition, I suggest including options for spotlight ananyses, based on regions defined by the user (e.g., significance at +-1 SD from the mean of the moderator or at a particular value of the moderator).

It would be great if labels in Graph Builder could be more easily aligned, e.g. by a right-click -> Align Labels, or Align Selected Labels (alongside an invisible vertical or horizontal axis). If something like this already exists, please give me a hint... I often label e.g. two-dimensional outliers by their serial number, align labels to make them readable, resize the graph at some point, and then have to start over again (see the Hollywood Movies example below). Maybe it could be possible to group selected labels (e.g. after alignment) and then move them around as one group of labels. Or maybe after alignment, labels could be allocated their X and Y coordinates at that moment, and when resizing the graph, only font sizes for labels are adjusted for readability, but labels remain at their coordinates.

Hi, I think it would be a terrific idea to enable the option to turn on sample size (n) within Least Square Means Tables within the Fit Model Platform, particularly for cases of retrospective data analysis where sample sizes are often unbalanced across groups. The reason being is that the platform frustratingly shows you the total sample size for the model, but doesn't show you how many samples belong to each respective variable you are testing. Also, while the LS Means Plots are an excellent visualization tool for comparing the LS means by group, they can be somewhat misleading to the statistically naive because they don't illustrate where the individual data values are located in relation to the mean location and LS mean error bars. For this I would recommend allowing the user to turn on the points as an overlay to the current Least Square Means Plot.

The MaxDiff DOE tool currently generates a basic randomization. However, it does not provide the important next step that sensory and consumer research practitioners require which is the expansion of the basic design to be replicated for many test subjects and then to randomize the order blocks. It seems this capability is already available in other DOE tools such as the Custom Design int the baked in routine called, "Design Generation". The output should look exactly as it does in the JMP example file called, "Candy Survey" that is, without the raw data collected in the column titled "Choice". The pain point for researchers is that to use the JMP tool as currently configured, one would have to take the individual design and manually seed it and then randomize many times. Our tests often contain between 40 and 120 test subjects and sometimes more! So the current configuration is not helpful. Please consider bringing the "Data Generation" option into the MaxDiff DOE.

When I make a CV Column with Summary Names default to here(1); dt = open("$SAMPLE_DATA\Big Class.jmp"); dt_sum = dt << Summary( Group( :age ), Mean( :height ), Std Dev( :height ), CV( :height ), Freq( "None" ), Weight( "None" ), output table name( "Summary" ) ); The Column is already multiplied by 100 to make it a percent. So if I try to make it a percent format I have to first divide by 100. I think it would make more sense and be more intuitive if it wasn't multiplied by 100 but just formatted to be a percentage. That way the percent sign is there and it seems more intuitituve to me. This is probably a thing that goes deeper than summary, and this may cause problems.

start jmp.exe, pass it a script and input variables all through the cmd line JMP does not have a nice direct cmd line input ability to where I could launch jmp.exe via a script. The request is for JMP to have this ability. I have asked the community how I might write JSL code to work around our sharepoint system. I have some JSL code for getting the "open file" window to open but the field for auto-populating the file name into the file field seems to be a bit weird. Ability to attach a script to the project that runs on startup. I can do this currently manually but if I save the project, the script gets overwritten.

I would Like to make Radiation pattern with JMP, but for now it is not possible. I guess it will be a good improvement for jmp software. I need a 3D spacial representation with an color map to see the strength of the power. I also need 2D 360 graph following the different direction of the power Bellow some exemple, and what I am expected. 3D: 2D: I hope this idea will be accepted. Regards. In JMP, File -> Open for files of type JMP Scripts (*.JSL), the OPEN button has options for Open and Run. Suggestion: add a third option: Edit If the JSL file begins with \\!, Open and Run both run the JSL wiout an option of editing the file without running it first. While you can edit a JSL from the recent files list, you had to have opened or run it first before the recent files list is populated.

Hello, When we run the Fit Model platform with both random and fixed effect we have the possibility thanks to the Save Columns menu, to save residuals, predicted values... but also the conditional residuals and conditional predicted values (which take into account fixed and random effects). It would be great if we could also save the conditional version of the other columns such as the Studentized Residuals or the StdErr Pred Formula.

I'd like to have a multivariate x axis in the Fit Y by X platform, with the ability to run Means testing. I use the Variability chart in the variability gauge platform to show how multiple (non-continuous) variables grouped on the X axis impact a Y numeric product response. I'd like to be able to run means ANOVA testing for each of the variables plotted on the X-Axis.

I plead that all import filters in the Open function get an option to import everything into character columns. This way, a jsl developer can control data formats in columns and not rely on luck that JMP guesses the types right - which is often not the case. Also, such an option should be really easy to implement and it will remove a lot of PAIN :)

I would like to propose the ability to have scriptable control for code folding markers. This in my opinion would enable easier management of code. I would like to see the RSquare validation value available for each row in the output table with the all possible models tool. I find myself using the all possible models option often but I always end up needing to manaually create the exact table to include the validation information. The information is already avaialbe without actually running the model in the stepwise regression control on the top of the page.

Most products have multiple quality characteristics, some of which are correlated. Multivariate process capability analysis incorporates those correlations to penalize the process when the process produces output that doesn't meet the typical relationship between the characteristics.
