Access to JMP User Community Add-ins section - Insufficient privileges

It seems for me that I cannot access the JMP User Community Add-ins page anymore.

E.g. the Data Tables Tool Add https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMP-Add-Ins/Data-Table-Tools-Add-in/ta-p/28582

resolves for me in an error page since last Tuesday:

It seems that the whole Add-ins section in the JMP User Community is not accessible anymore. Many of these add-ins are not in the Marketplace. Doey anyone else also have this problem?

Best regards,

Thomas

To my knowledge, if the add-ins cannot be found from Marketplace they are basically gone (unless you happen to find the installer somewhere). There was some transition period where they were available from JMP Community, but maybe it is over now @Ryan_Gilmore @scott_allen

Re: Access to JMP User Community Add-ins section - Insufficient privileges

Hi @ThomasDickel

Over the past year, the File Exchange has been phased out following this announcement. During this transition, many of the Add-Ins from the File Exchange moved to the JMP Marketplace

The Data Table Tools is a really helpful utility and I can look into migrating it. If there are other Add-Ins that you notice are missing, let us know and we can look into migrating them, too.

@scott_allen
And the Scripting Tools seem also to be missing in the Marketplace:

Re: Access to JMP User Community Add-ins section - Insufficient privileges

Hi, @ThomasDickel - Thanks for the shout-out on the search tool.  I wonder if you've tried using the "Search JMP" option under help.  It has the ability to search a number of online sources for JMP.  They appear at the bottom of the list of options:

If there is still something missing, can you comment here so I know what bits to focus on if I were to create a new version.

Thanks

Re: Access to JMP User Community Add-ins section - Insufficient privileges

Two of those add-ins are developed by me (Enhanced Sankey Plot and Analyse Columns). I seem to have installers for both of those BUT I have to check that they are the "public" versions as I have similar add-ins I have developed for work which I cannot share.

I did assist also in creation off the Add-In Guidelines and I think the add-ins in JMP Marketplace should follow those (or similar guidelines) and you can find them at least from the FAQ JMP Marketplace - Frequently Asked Questions under "Are there guidelines I should follow when creating JMP extensions?"
