ordinal logistic regression interaction effects
Find courses, tutorials, and lots of other methods of learning JMP.
view all learning resourcesthe second image shows what happens when I try to add the third data column. I'm not sure why it wont let me. It either replaces on of the existing data columns graphed or it switches to histogram mode. The goal is to overlay 2.5keV*6, 5keV*3,10keV*1.5, and 15keV. Thanks!
Hi all, when you run the code below (code is taken from the scripting index) a window opens where you can manually specify if a response shall be maximized, be none etc. I was wondering if this manual step can be done completely by scripting such that no user interaction is required at all?Thanks for your help!
Note: I'm using JMP 18.Names Default To Here( 1 );

Hello everyone, so I have been testing around with the simulation feature in JMP, which you can use to simulate statistics from reports where you have a random component (Overview of the Simulate Feature (jmp.com)). To the best of my knowledge, you can only simulate one column at a time. Is it possible to perform the simulation for the whole output table instead of having to simulate each column o...
Good morning, I'm currently learning JMP and about DSD/optimization. I ran my first experiment and would like feedback on the analysis and next steps. I'm using JMP Pro 17. The experiment objective: Maximize the capture/recovery of bacteria to magnetic particles. The setup: I picked out the 7 variables I thought could influence the outcome and tested them using 22 runs (2 blocks - it takes me 2 da...

Hello, I am working in Graph Builder (version 17) and I need my bars to have labels on them. But I don't have all the labels I need when I plot it. How do I get all the labels to show up, and more so when I change my axis scale? This first one is when I just do the basic plot and do not adjust my y-axis scale. I don't have all my labels, but I have the majority of them. When I adjust my right y-ax...
Hello, When I click Caption Box, and choose range for summery statistic, it gives me the range of the entire data set (which is about 25, from the data points 91 to 116). I was wondering if it's possible for the Caption Box to give me the range of the means (red lines), which around be about 95 to 110. Thanks.
I have a new material made of different oxides. All of them have a fixed proportion, with only two oxides changing in a reverse manner, so their final proportion is fixed. Finally, I have six samples. I have used online software to study a specific response; hence, I finally have an energy column with 25 different values, with each one having its own unique response value for the specific composit...
Hello, I fitted a probit model with an interaction term by using the Fit Model platform and specifying the Effects( A, B, A*B ), where :A is a continuous variable and B is a dichotomous variable. In the parameter estimates section I got the Lower CLs and Upper CIs for the intercept, A, B, A*B. terms, respectively. Could you provide some details about how the confidence intervals are calculated fo...
Hello, This is a somewhat complicated request, so I hope I am clear with what I need and have. I currently have this graphic: but it is confusing and I need to add more to clarify it. I need it to include the total number of all the centers (like it currently is on the right y-axis). But I also need to include the number of centers (along with the percent) labelled in the bar for the left y-axis...
i am analyzing my data for thesis using jmp software, tell me how to put data in jmp , i have 3 groups, i.e. men 60, women 60, senior citizen 30, total 150 participantsi have different parameters i.e. crop damage, house damage, livestock damage
crop damage frequency is 123
house damage is 113
livestock damage is 86how to analyze this, this is survey based data, can someone give me example sheet, how ...
Why doesn't a large and powerful program like JMPPRO contain hybrid models in time series such as the ARIMA-ANN model, ARMAX model, and others?
