  • Can you use the Equivalence of means sample size calculator for attribute data?

Hi,  Maybe i'm using the wrong type of test..but I would like to generate a sample size to compare two parts.  The test is an attribute test and I just want to verify the new part doesn't increase the failures by more than 10%.  This seemed like a non inferiority test when I first thought about it but playing around with the calculator, it seems like it's more of a test for variable data.  Am I ju...

  • Extracting Deltas between two tables serialized samples for multiple parametric measurements

I have measured data for 50 serialized parts over three different temperature (Room, Hot, Cold) in three different tables.  Each serialized part has over 100 measured parameters.  I want to extract the deltas (Room - Hot) and (Room - Cold).  Putting these two calculations into two new tables would allow me to find the parts with the worst temperature deltas. i have tried Table compare, but it does...

  • How should I set DoE design when there are some operationally dependent parameters ?

For my experiment, I have two variables: (1) additive concentration (0, 1, 5 mg/L) and (2) timing for additive supplementation (during cell seeding, during plasmid transfection). Since the timing becomes irrelevant when the additive concentration is 0 mg/L, how could I assign the factors / their levels that account for this operational dependency during designing DoE using JMP ?

  • How to combine two columns info and remove redundant info?

Hi I want to get some advice of combining columns.  Here I have column 1 and 2 and these two columns are actually containing the same info of interest. I want to combine them together and remove repeat info.  Original table: Column1 Column2     1              1     2               3              3 Final table: Column1     2          3         Thank you!

  • Confidence interval for parameters and inverse predictions

Dear JMP community, I am fitting a probit regression between proportion of success and a continuous variable X. The screenshots below are the fit model outputs. I also got inverse predictions when the success are 0.05 ~ 0.95. I am wondering: 1) what are the confidence intervals for the parameter estimates, are they the Wald confidence interval? 2) what are the confidence intervals for the inverse ...

  • Two-way Shapley Decomposition

    Dear community,

I am aiming to compute a Two way Shapley decomposition for this mockedup data table. Herefore I first have to identify the growth and distribution components and to which percentage they account for the change in the EQ-5D-5L score. Further I aim to investigate the contribution of each individual predictor to the final EQ-5D-5L score.

Would really appreciate if someone could guide me...

  • how I can add standard deviation of two repeats in the fitted curve

I am trying to build a growth curve based on two repeats I created the graph using graph builder and when I tried to analyze the graph to do curve fitting using Gompertz model it separates the two repeat again instead of the mean and I can not add the standard deviation to each data point how I can fix that?
