    Is there an easy way for JSL to open a text file with a non-standard file extension?  For example: I would like to open a text file with an extension like ".ridiculous", but JMP is not able to select this file using Open() dialog.  Any ideas?  I am using JMP 18.0.1.

    I have a script that I want to be able to share and use, however it picks directory from local pc. Is there a way to have a setup file when you first download it and customise to your file path and then keep using this script as an addin?

    JMP can be used with different language settings.When a user changes the language, in general a command  keeps its "internal name"- and the title is displayed in the other language: e.g.

  • Data Visualization in Virtual Reality

    Has anyone considered or have any interest in visualizing JMP plots (e.g., 3D scatter, surface) in virtual reality? I know there are several immersive VR programs (Arthur, Virtualitics, NVIDIA Omniverse) that can handle data and images generated from other program and I was wondering if anyone has made any attempts to do the same with JMP. Would love to hear back from anyone interested.

  • JMP 18 Addins on Server - Change in Location

    FYI from JMP tech support:   If you are running JMP on a server, note that JMP 16 addins do not work for JMP 18 because the file paths have changed.  JMP is no longer part of SAS so the file path changed from C:\ProgramData\SAS\JMP\addIns to C:\ProgramData\JMP\JMP\addIns

    Changing your file path to C:\ProgramData\JMP\JMP\addIns will make addins visible for JMP version 18.
