  • Working with Imputed Data in JMP - Elastic Net

    Hi Everyone,

I am working with a dataset that went through multiple imputation in stata. I am trying to do elastic net regression on the data set in JMP because Stata does not seem to support elastic net in it's multiple imputation estimate command.

I was wondering, does JMP have any way of identifying the data as MI data, or does it even matter? The mi estimate command in stata conducts a combined...

  • Confidence interval in Fit Model Actual by Predicted plot

I would like to know how the confidence interval in Fit Model Actual by Predicted plot is calculated. I tried to manually plot Actual vs Predicted with Fit Y by X and the confidence interval is different with the one in Fit Model. I can manually calculate the confidence interval of Fit Y by X but cannot figure out how to calculate the one in Fit Model. Please advise. Thanks a lot!

  • Paired-samples test of equivalence

Hi, Is it possible within JMP Pro to perform a paired-samples test of equivalence? I can only see an option under the Fit Y by X platform to carry out an equivalence test without a grouping variable. Thanks in advance

  • GraphBuilder Legend hook

There are many useful instances of being able to have a hook onto the selection state change of a legend for a chart / graph.  With the non graph-builder method of generating charts' and graphs' legends (using Row Legend()), this was quite simple as the display element was simply a Table Box() that can receive a Set Row Change Function() message.  The same cannot be done (to my knowledge) with Gra...

  • Open files from same directory for Workflow

Hello Community, I only just recently started working with JMP Workflows and JSL Scripts and was wondering to create something in code to achieve the following: - The goal is to move a workflow (copy/paste) to a specific folder, where other files like .xlsx and .csv are located. The designed script should then open a specific .csv file from within the same folder the script or workflow is located ...

  • Copy Columns - selected rows

Copy Columns from the right-click context menu of a column header is very useful. Just copy the column(s)  - with all the settings ... and paste it into a JSL script - or another table. There is a hidden feature:
When rows are selected, the values of the selected rows are used as arguments of the Set Values() command and will populate the cells of the new column. So, when you select all rows before...
