  • Total Recall - or Back to the Future? how to travel further into the past

The Recall buttons in the GUIs of the standard platforms are great.Such a help to work efficiently! Sometimes, I have to toggle between two settings or need to redo a step that I did some while ago. Are the settings stored in a list and is there an alternative way besides just clicking on the button (Shift, Ctrl, right Click?) to access entries N-1 and below?I tried some alternatives, but all beha...

  • Passing column name to function as variable in JMPPRO 14.3

Very simply, I am trying to modularize some variability charts. In total there are 3-4 different parameters that I want to plot these charts for, so I need to pass in a key to the function to tell it which column to plot and let it set up some specific handling of that column. Namely, what sort of transformation that column needs to undergo as part of the plot operation. The way I've started is to...

  • How to have a preset graph for graph builder update axis upon re-running?

Hi All,   Running JMP/JMP Pro on windows 11 machines.   I am curious how to get around a very specific kind of problem -- and do it automatically (not manually). As an example, I am using the Air.jmp sample data table to show the issue at hand. I've attached a copy of the files with the script to show the problem.   I have a data table where I'm adding data to it daily (sometimes weekly), and I ha...

  • How to make the histogram more intuitive?

I use the distribution command to get a histogram for a column of data. There are two problems:firstly, after fitting the distribution, the distribution curve is not displayed completely, the upper part of the curve is truncated and you need to manually drag and drop the axes to see it;secondly, after adding the upper and lower limits, you need to manually drag and drop to see it.How to fix these p...

  • DoE center points problem

Hello,  I'm currently designing a DoE with three different factors, two continuous (temperature, time) and one categorical (batch number with 4 different batches). I used the Custom design, D-optimal to design it and with some disallowed combinations. However, I would like to add some runs to my design that are center points and not only the suggested extremities, but it seems like it's not possib...

  • Interpreting Pairwise Tukey HSD t ratio in Zero-Inflated Poisson

The context of my data is from an e-commerce website. I am measuring the number of errors made based on different independent variables: Filtering technique (Alphabetical, Relevance and Search) and Number of Items added (Add one at a time, or add multiple items to cart at once). As the number of errors made is 0 most of the time, I have opted to use the Zero Inflated Poisson Regression. When I per...
