  • BMI percentile calculations

For patients < 18 years of age, their obesity is determined by age, gender specific BMI percentiles . CDC had codes to do this in SAS https://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpao/growthcharts/resources/sas.htm I am wondering if this is possible to do this in JMP. I currently have to depend on a SAS user to do this for me..

  • case mix adjusted mortality rate calculation

I have a large data set , where I need to compare the mortality rate among two groups. The groups differ in age , diagnostic categories , gender etc. I can do logistic regression and it gives me odds ratio of death in one group vs other after including the confounding variables..but it does not give me a 'adjusted rate' How do I calculate and compare the case mix adjusted mortality rates between t...

  • create new id to deal with multiple to multiple relationship

The data i currently have looks like:id    email1     a1     b2     a2     c3     dWe can see that id 1 2 and email a b c are actually the same person because the info overlaps. What I'm trying to do here is to come up with a match table with a new key which i can use to match back to the original table to identify those overlap ones are actuall...

  • X-axis of control chart builder

I want to create a control chart of a concentration versus time. This works well when I don't fill in the X-axis however when moving a time variable in h:min:sec to the X area the chart changes dramatically, why is this? How to solve? Thanks

  • JSL Identify Path of the Currently Running Script

When running a script (either from the script window or by triggering it from the add-in) I would like to be able to either (1) get at the location of the directory that the script window is in or (2) get the id of the add-in that contains the script. JMP knows this because it had to open the script to start executing this. Is there a way to do this?I know I can do this in an add-in context by usi...

When I update the Spec Limits (via Column Properties), the Graph Builder script is not updati...

  • definitive screening design

    Dear All,
I am planning to build an RSM to optimize my method. I have 8 continuous factors, 1 categorical factor, and 2 responses. The levels of each factor were determined according to previous experiences of the team. I have no idea if there are interactions between factors or not. I can not identify the source of noise and I am planning to randomize. After I did some research, I think the most s...

The other predictor variables include age, diagnostic categories, severity of illness score etc. I need to account or site clustering. I can do this by adding site ID in the Fit model...I can make it into random effect...
