JMP Pro 13 unexpectedly quit while reopening windows

I gained the copy of JMP from the university as a student for about one year. It worked fine until this week when it keeps failing to open. I am using Mac OS Mojave.When I open JMP, it shows "The last time you opened JMP, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?" And lets me choose "Reopen" or "Do not reopen".Then I click "Reopen", it shows "JMP...

Left function behavior

I'm having an odd behavior with Left(). Consider the following:Left( "A", 2, " ") I anticipate the result will be "A " (i.e. padded on the right with a space). is there a way to color a contour plot with a category of data?

I'm creating a contour plot with 3 groups of numerical data. I also have categories that these different data are grouped into. Is there any way to create a custom color scheme that follows the categories of data in the groups assigned so that I can see where the categories sit in this contour of the three numerical series?
