  • Tabulate Capacity Issues

Hi all,   I'm running into an issue with one of my yield analysis scripts. The goal is to get a yield by test across temperature table. This script has worked very well in the past, but as products have gotten more complex we are now collecting more data than ever before. I'm seeing that the tabulate window stops populating data that should be there after row 10922. Do you know why this is or if t...

  • Why the lambda value of Spline fitting used in "Fit Y by X analysis" is different from the "Graph Builder"?

Hello, JMP developers, I'm using JMP15.2.1 version. As below smooth fitting results(same datasets) in JMP when using the One Way Analysis (Fit Y by X)  platform vs. Graph Builder, by setting the same lambda=100, the smoothness of the curve is totally different. (Fits are the same even if the lambda values differ by approximately 20x) Is there a reason for such difference?

  • Send label position "opposite" to certain reference lines in an axis box using JSL

Howdy,   On JMP Pro 17.2.0, I am using << Add Ref Line commands in a For loop and would like the first 3 ref line labels to display on the opposite axis. I have tried notations such as,   rpVarPlots1[i][AxisBox( 1 )] << Add Ref line( rUCL[i], "Solid", "Purple", "UCL=" || Char( rUCL[i] ), 1, Label Position("Opposite) );   rpVarPlots1[i][AxisBox( 1 )] << Add Ref line( rUCL[i], "Solid", "Purple", "UC...

  • Testing slices in JMP Pro Mixed Model?

Hello, I am doing a 4-way, full factorial ANOVA with one repeated measures factor (time, 3 samplings) and three between-subject factors (species, color, and irrigation; 2 levels of each) using the Mixed Model personality in JMP Pro 18.1.0. I'm using the AR(1) repeated covariance structure, as it provides the best fit based on AICc values. The analysis indicates I have no significant 4- or 3-way in...

  • when does model reduction lead to the problem of multiple comparisons?

My interest is in identifying the strongest predictors of annual per capita growth rate for three groups of bird species: residents, short-distance migrants and long-distance migrants.  My model has per capita growth rate as the dependent variable, and as predictors bird density during the breeding season, and 13 environmental predictors (various measures of climate, food abundance and nest predat...

  • steps to use the minimum p-value approach with log-rank test?

I am interested in applying the minimum p-value approach using the p-values obtained from the log-rank test. However, I am uncertain about the specific steps involved. Could you kindly advise me on how to proceed?   I am currently using the following version: JMP® Student Edition 18.2.0, running on Microsoft Windows 11 Home.

  • Discovery summit book signings - official list of books?

Fellow JMP enthusiasts! During the 2024 Manchester Discovery Summit I was surprised to learn that the handing out and signing of books is a tradition. So, I am wondering whether there is a list of the books handed out & signed so far. If it exists, where to find it?I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Bitch" by Lucy Cooke, and I have a feeling "Hello World" by Hannah Frey will be a good read too.
