  • Creating a boxplot and histogram view in a single chart

I am trying to re-create a chart as shown below where a box plot is shown for a discrete lot level on the x-axis and a vertical histogram of the entire data set is on the right hand side of the chart.    Is there a way to do this in Graph Builder or is this only achievable with jsl?

  • get rows in between characters from a column then move other column value (selected row only) to other column

Hi,   I want to move or copy paste multiple column value of selected rows to other columns in the same table like picture below the interested rows are always start from :Item == "start" until :Item == "values", but the total rows can be different. I want to copy paste or move value in Col1 and Col2 of the interested rows to Col 3 and Col 4. My current thought is to manually create a list that inc...

  • How to get the path to the current project file?

If I have a script within a project (or perhaps a reference to the project in a script outside of the project), how to do I get the file path to where the project is saved on disk?  I'm interested in doing this with JSL, not interactively.

  • How to model responses when their sum is equal to 1?

    Hello!

I have completed a DoE in order to model the particle size distribution. The distribution is measured by several screens. For each size range (e.g. <1mm, 1-5 mm, >5 mm), I have the proportion of particles, and the sum must be one.   My question is how to model the three responses properly, taking into account that the sum of the responses must equal 1.   I have included a synthetic table to...

  • Life distribution: how to set the markers and weibull fit to use Kaplan-Meier or Turnbull estimates

Hello,   The below is the test table I made. According to the description: https://www.jmp.com/support/help/en/18.1/index.shtml#page/jmp/event-plot.shtml#ww1386833 It meas there are total 100 samples. And exactly at 4 readings: 50, 100, 150 and 200, there are 25 new failures happened. So the failure rate I expected will be: 50, 25% 100, 50%, 150, 75% 200,100%.     The markers in the Weibull plot ...

Before the python code block, the DataTable is accessible and even opens in JMP. However, after the python code block when I try to access the predictions made by the neural ne...

  • Discovery summit book signings - official list of books?

Fellow JMP enthusiasts! During the 2024 Manchester Discovery Summit I was surprised to learn that the handing out and signing of books is a tradition. So, I am wondering whether there is a list of the books handed out & signed so far. If it exists, where to find it?I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Bitch" by Lucy Cooke, and I have a feeling "Hello World" by Hannah Frey will be a good read too.

  • Inquiry Regarding the Use of JMP and JMP Live (Suppress Eval?)

Hello, I am a user of JMP Live.

However, while the function operates correctly on my PC, it does not work properly on JMP Live.Even though I have disabled "Suppress Eval" before executing Data Publish, when I later download the data, the column where the function should be ...

  • Question About F-Tests in GLMMs with Binomial Errors

    Hi,
I have a question regarding Generalized Linear Mixed Models (GLMMs) in JMP pro. Most statisticians consider it inappropriate to use F-tests or t-tests to evaluate predictor contributions in GLMs or GLMMs with binomial errors. This is because F- and t-tests are based on sums of squares, which assume normally distributed residual errors.
While using a logit link function helps linearize the relati...
