Analyzing correlation of non normal distributed data from Sequencing analyses

Hello,

I may have not dig enough but I don't find the answer in the community.We have NGS like data, expression of genes, that we would like to correlates between different sample zones. The data are not normally distributed. We have various inputs saying that we should use log transformation to get a normal distribution. We want to study tha correlation, can we do it on non-normal distributed data...

How to open data files from earlier versions?

I recently upgraded to JMP Pro 14. Now I can't open most of my older data files (not that old, not back to v. 1, some go back to JMP 5, but most are much more recent). I trashed my older versions of JMP. Is there a way to somehow open older JMP data files and save them in this new version? Thanks for any help.

What is not possible via JSL?

Finding 3 largest values out of a set

I need to identify the 3 largest values out of a set of data grouping by certain columns, e.g. with Big Class, suppose I want to identify the 3 tallest students at each age for each sex. I don't think there are any ties/ambiguity in that set, but in my set there are, e.g. if the heights for a given age/sex combination were (64, 63, 61, 61, 61, 61), it doesn't matter which of the 61s is selected. ...

Linking Data filters

How do I link a data filter? For example, I have multiple BouleIDs in different Programs as shown in the screenshot.When i select a program, I want only the BouleIDs specific to that program to be visible in the BouleID data filter.Currently whether I use the AND, or OR conditions, it shows all BouleIDs regardless of what program I selected. Simulation Experiment

I used prediction profiler to find parameters to maximize desirability, then simulated to table. Then I was taught in a JMP class to "use TLC drop down toolbar, click Edge of Failure script".
