  • Add a csv to a JMP Data Table

Hi all. I've looked around to see if there is a script that adds/imports a csv file while still keeping the old data. My objective is to have a master JMP file. Then everytime I test a different device/different date, I would like it to be added to the master JMP Data table without overwriting it. I've seen code that meshes all csv files in a folder, but I would like it for just one csv file at a ...

  • two plots on one graph

Hi all - I'm new to JMP's graph builder. I'm sure this is easy but alas...

I need to present two plots on one graph:
    1. bars with s.e. bars (mean long-term rainfall by month)
    2. line (no error bars) rainfall data from a single year, also by month

So, same x and same y axes.

    Thanks in anticipation.

  • Vertical scrolling keeps going after I release the mouse

(JMP 13.2.1 64-bit on Windows 10 Home) Hi,Since the release of the update prior to my current version, the vertical scrolling behavior when moving up and down a data table has become very strange. I have never seen this in any other application. If I click and drag the scrollbar slider with the mouse and let go, scrolling *sometimes* continues. It starts fast at first and then slows down. I don't ...

  • Clustered bar chart by variable

Hi all, This might sound like a simple question but I haven't figured out a way to make this work. I ran a test on multiple samples and for each sample, the test outputs the percentages of the three different components that make up the sample. I set up a data table with 4 columns: 1 for sample name and the other 3 for the percentages of the 3 components.I'm trying to create a clustered bar chart ...

  • How do I calculate z-scores at different aggregation levels?

Hello,  How do I use JSL to calculate Z-scores at different levels of aggregation? I am working with cancer mortality data (1999 - 2015) at the county-level. I need to calculate Z-scores to compare each county to the others within a state and all counties within the country. I cannot simply use the standardize function because it automatically takes an average of rates--which is invalid unless the...
