Adding Map Files on a Mac Computer
How does a Mac User find the JMP Map directory? I have downloaded the zip code shape file and need to add that file into the directory. Any help would be greatly appreciated? Thanks in advance.

Beginner JSL scripter here...I want to create a script that will delete any rows that have missing data within any column. Right now if I rename the column(s) it will work like this: clean_dt << selectWhere(IsMissing(:THK)) << deleteRows ; The problem is, I want this script to be dynamic and be able to handle any name for any column that I give it and reference it by column number for example. Let...
Hi guys,Glad to be part of this great community. Looking forward to making useful contributions.I need some help with determining the Signal to Noise Ratio (S/N) for my regression model. I am using JMP pro 11 software. Can anybody help me please? Thanks.
I have a script that I'm troubleshooting and the issue(s) deal with scoping. The problem is that I have to completely shut down JMP and restart it to test my changes ( deletesymbols() and deletenamespaces() don't clean things up enough). 1) Start JMP2) Run script, get error3) Close data tables4) Run script again, script works fine.5) Close JMP then restart JMP6) Run script, get error Clearly somet...
I am not sure if I have a claer title, but I am trying to run the ANOVA and F test on the yields with three factors: 10 ENTRIES, 2 LOCATIONS, 2 YEARS. I have 3 Reps for all 10 ENTRIES assigned in the field as RCBD design in each LOCATION and each YEAR. How do I nest the replcation within LOCATION, YEAR? whould I nest it in Rep ( LOCATION*YEAR) as well? Thank you

Dear All,Suppose, I have two data sets. I am using standard example Sample library>> Big Class.jmp.Data set 1: All the 40 students of a class.Data set 2: Subset of just female students of the the class.Need: I would like to compare distribution of [age, sex, height, weight] for Dataset 1 and 2.For this I open both the reports, combine these reports using JMP>file> application. When I combine applicat...
I'm looking to create a script which performs a series of steps, first of which is to create an N-statistic summary of an unspecified number of columns with unspecified names. The guides I've seen so far on jmp scripted summary tables require the column names to be specified. I can specify the group, e.g. Group(:Column1), but I want all other columns from column2 onwards to have an N-summary creat...
JMP 12 seems to have no ability to make row legends unique to charts, instead it is applies across all charts for a given data table. This seems to be because it saves row legend info as a layer on the DT instead of the chart. Is there some way around this besides duplicating data tables for each chart that needs a unique legend? Many thanks in advance
HiI am using JMP Pro 13 doing PCA and although I can see all the output I need on the screen, I want to be able to extrct the eigenvalues and use them as weights for another anlaysis, so I need them in a dataset, but there doens't appear to be any option to get them out. The only thing I can save is the principal components...does anyone know how you can save the other parts of the output? Either ...
For years I've had to build sets of graphs using the Fit Y by X platform. The graphs are simple: X-axis is always (1) a character, nominal column and (2) a numeric, continuous date/time column. The Y-axis is always numeric, continuous data (bins, registers, parameters). The result is a list of box plot on the left, time trend on the right. There could be many plots at a time. In JMP 12 (and I thin...
On twitter earlier today, someone asked if the Cochran-Mantel-Haenszel (CMH) odds ratio (OR) test was available in JMP when the stratification variable is not the X in Fit Y by X. Anytime I need to go from two variables to more than two variables, the first place I look is Fit Model. The beauty of fit model is that not only can I use as many variables as I want, but I can consider interactions bet...
Hello, Does anyone know how to calculate the eta squared value from a manova analysis in JMP? I know that the E and H matrices tab shows the sum of squares for each parameter, but which values do I use to calculate SStotal and SSeffect? In my model, I have 2 control variables (age and gender) and then a two way factorial. If only one of these variables (in addition to both control variables) is si...
Dear JMP community,Is there an easy way to get the FWHM (full width half max) of a spectral curve using JMP? Finding the minima and maxima are fairly straightforward, but then calculating the FWHM seems to be much more laborious in JMP, especially if the data is sparse and we would like to interpolate to get more accurate intersections between the peak and the FWHM value. In my case, the peak is o...
Hi!I was wondering if anyone already tried to work with Co-Kriging, using JMP together with Matlab. As JMP only fits Ordinary Kriging Models (Gaussian Process with Gaussian Correlation Function), I would like to send data (generated with Space Filling JMP Platform) from JMP to Matlab, fit the models there (Matlab), and bring the MODELS back to JMP, to use inside Profile Platform. Do you have any e...
