  • How do you add a title to a box plot?

In the JMP report window for the analysis I've just done, one the the results is a set of box plots all together in the same graph. That's exactly how I want it to look. I want to add this graph into a paper, which would be fine but I can't figure out how to add a title to it. I'm not working in the graph builder. I am working in the report window.  Just double clicking on the title next to the re...

  • Linear regression

Hi, I am looking for the correct term for what I am using to analyze my data, to my understanding it's neither multiple nor multivariate linear regression: I want a global linear fit for several measured specimen. So I measured x and y for 5 samples, each yielding y=mx+n. I perform a linear regression of all these 5 samples at once, yielding one m and n for all 5. What's the name for this? In JMP ...

Hi,  Is it possible to use loop in the column formula? For example, I have a column named  TEST, and I write for (i=1, i<5, i++, :TEST=char(i)) ... but I do not get anything, that column is blank after I hit apply/OK. From the loop I am hoping to get every row in the column would be 4.  Sorry for asking such a simple question, but coluldn't find the answer by quickly going thru appendix A of "Usin...

  • Interpretation of JMP GR&R result table in JMP 15.1.0

Hi Community of Experienced Users!I am a new to JMP and  trying to interpret the Gauge R&R results. When I look at the Result table: could you explain why Reproducibility is 60.54 %, if the formula for calculation is V(total)- V(Assay) -V(Within)? When I apply this formula, I am getting: 63.63 (Total)-3.61 (Assay) - 19.26 ( Within) =40.76.Could you please help? The second question is what is catego...

  • Matched pair analysis with categorical responses

Hello everyone, This will be straightforward I'm sure. I have 100 rows of data representing individuals. The two columns are binned percentages (0-10%, 11-20% etc.), one for two different years. If the responses were numeric, the matched pair analysis would be exactly what I want. But the responses are categorical so that is out. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!Best regards,Greg

  • SharePoint Online

My company recently began the migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online.  I have found that my JSL scripts are now no longer able to open or save files to the new SPO site.  Anyone have the correct updated syntax for this. Example 1 (SP 2010): This worked.     TablePath4 = "\\sharepoint.amr.ith.company.com@ssl\sites\rpt\documents\JMP_tables\"; //set variable TablePath path location Tabl...

  • Problem specifying model for a partly nested ANOVA design

My study design is mixed-model with one fixed between-plot fixed factor (A), a random plot factor (B), nested in A (B[A]), and two crossed within-plot fixed factors (C and D).  I'm able to enter a full factorial model that includes the 3 fixed factors and all their interactions, using either the Least Squares or Mixed-Model Personality.  I'm also able to add the random factor (B[A]), but things go...

  • Default encoding on JMP - EUC-KR

Hi,I have JMP 14.2, 15.1, and also 16.0EA at the moment. All versions here don't include EUC-KR encoding system; so this can cause importing problems in many cases since a lot of Korean data or pages are made with EUC-KR. I have charsets that are all broken. So I had to import it with other programs and save as to fit into UTF-8 or match/join columns with other matching codes. It seems like JMP is a...
